They stayed away from MW2 which was smart, they have Mass Effect 2, Halo: Reach, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Alan Wake, more GTA content and possibly a new Project Gotham Racing on the way for 2010 so I wouldnt sat they have lost interest.

MS was smart in keeping any high profile games away from this holiday season.

The only games Valve makes are FPS. They can't make any other kind of game. Ever since the company was formed all they did was make FPS after FPS.

Half-Life, CS, TF, CS:S, CS:CZ, TF2, L4D, L4D2, Portal, Half-Life 2, Day of Defeat. All of these games are shooters. Valve is incredbily unoriginal and they refuse to move out of their comfort zone.

All their games play exactly the same with a new twist. In fact, all their games are practically mods for Half-Life with a slightly better engine. Considering there was zombie modes for CS and Half-Life so L4D is nothing new.

Why can't valve make any other games other than FPS, and why do they get so much praise for only making one type of game that are all extremely similar?
