i have just come back from a black stone cherry gig at the UEA (University of East Anglia) now the two support groups, the parlor mob and Duff Mckagan loaded were nothing to write home about, or write in a blog about as the case may be...but black stone cherry were as good as i expected, with Chris's voice as powerful as it always is and the music was great. i had to spend this gig standing near the back and trying to wriggle my way closer seeing as i got there half way through the parlor mobs set, which wasnt good because it was a sellout crowd and finding a place to stand with a good view was a pain in the A$$. So i didnt get the full experience i was hoping for, but i can still say that it was a great gig and if you even remotely like black stone cherry they are a band you have to see live.

...did i mention they threw out donuts for the crowed?

just thought i'd put together a list, in order of their importance, of the top 5 games im looking forward to getting in the coming months ( including the early part of next year)

1. Dragon Age : Origins - i love a good RPG me, and dragon age is looking to be one of the greats, it has everything from a great story, great setting, great soundtrack, great characters and some really good gameplay.

2. Mass Effect 2 - the first one was a great RPG, with a few flaws...but they seem to be fixing all the little problems for this game so it will most likely be amazing

3. Modern Warfare 2 - i really enjoyed enjoyed the first modern warfare and this one looks to be even better.

4. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - loved the fist game and as long as they keep all the action and the humour this one will be great as well.

5. Brutal Legend - Metal + Comedy = a fantastic game...'nough said.

Honorable Mentions - just a few games that didnt make it into my top 5, but are still looking to take my cash.

it's not long til my parents go to Australia for three weeks to see some relatives, which meens i get the whole house for 3 weeks, which basically meens i get to move my 360 downstairs to the 42 inch TV, move the settee to be in front of the TV, get some beers and food in, and invite some friends round for some gaming.

i havn't bothered going on holiday with my parents for a few years now, but i've never been able to have the whole house for myself for 3 weeks, this is going to be fun:D

Im picking up my AS results tomorrow, I need to pass to get into next year, but im s***ing myself thinking I haven't passed maths or further maths...thats really f***ed me off seeing as we've started a bit of next years work and im sure I could get a pass easily, but if I failed this years exams im completely f***ed.

Im sure I've passed media studies (who doesn't), and all I need is an E in maths to get into next year...if I do fail im going to have to increase my hours at work and try to find a better job, but I doubt I can do that with only slightly above average GCSE results...so basically my future is decided tomorrow and im afraid my results are going to condemn me to s**t.

EDIT: Got my results, i was right, passed media, failed maths and further maths.....hurray for being f***ed for the rest of my life.

I've always been the sort of person that liked to buy games a while after they were released, just to get a bargain. It was only on very rare occasions that I got games when they were first released(the last was fable 2)... but in the coming months I've got so many first day buys....dragon age origins, mass effect 2, modern warfare 2, bad company 2...as well as the games I want to get not long after release such as left 4 dead 2 and alpha protocol. all I can say is that if I didn't have my part time job I really would be completely f***ed.

im still quite new to this site, ive only been writing reviews and comments for a few days but ive already had quite a large discussion about dragon age origins, but i managed to resolve it by meeting in the middle with Humorguy_basic. well its my first blog and i doubt anyone will read it so i dont know why im bothering
