Wait a sec!

No Michael Kiske? No Geoff Tate? No Attila Csihar? Joe Elliott? Kelly Shaefer? Udo Dirkschneider? Timo Tolkki? Timo Kotipelto? Messiah Marcolin? Ronnie James Dio? Andi Deris? Paul Stanley? Steve Perry? Michael Sweet? Maniac? John Lydon? Freddie Mercury? Blackie Lawless? Kvarforth? Phil Lynott? Cronos?

You people nailed some excellent singers though. ;) (Patton, Hansen, Nödtveidt, Varg, Mustaine, Lemmy, Gossow)

I seriously could go on, but I just can't favourize anybody. :/

you do know that there are tons of systems that other companies make that can play old games right?

7CloudStrife7

Wait... what are you getting at? You're saying what I had been hoping for has already been done? o_O

Nice, if I understand you correctly.

EDIT

Could you point out a few or two? :P

Hmm... just found out about the FC Twin and Gen-X Dual Station. Any more?

EDIT2

Retro Duo seems like an even better choice. XD

Alright, so I'm not talking about porting a SNES-game to the PSX.

Rather I'd like to point out that while I understand that it's pretty much a hopeless dream, wouldn't we all love it if; let's say, Nintendo re-released the SNES so that the poor people who can't get it any longer will yet again know pleasure?

I know it's been "done" before, a company releasing a slightly more good-looking version of their outdated consoles to milk the last out of it. BUT, even those become rare. I bet it wouldn't cost much to produce those antique consoles, and there's a huge interest for it.

Still, it's kinda safe to say that neither Nintendo nor Sony (Or any other console-making-company) are going to be very open to this idea. But what if some lesser company got the rights to do it? There's a lot of interest in that area; ConsoleClassix for example.

Like I said before, a hopeless dream... but you gotta admit Emulation sucks hardcore, aye? ;)
