A little about me.

Hey everybody, or so greets old Dr. Nick Riviera, a popular charater in The Simpsons.

Well, me, myself, whatever. My name is Gaston, most of you will have trouble pronouncing that, and I don`t blame you guys, it`s not an easy name to say in non spanish related languages. But it`s what I have, and I have to accept it.

I`m from Argentina, 23 at the moment. A gamer since I was 6. Proud owner of all platforms this gen, that means Gaming capable PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DSl, PSP and an iPhone. And I don`t have any pirated games on any of them. And that is a WOW! I guess.

I do have a huge collection of games, mostly on PS3 as it is my main platform (free online, connectivity, and most importantly, the platform 99.9% of my friends, real life friends, have). But what is not something common here, I don't have any prefered console, but I DO have prefered games, which end up being my decision makers on the term of console choices.

But my most precious thing, is my partner, hopefully for many years, Laura :).

I'm not a tech savvy guy, but I do read a lot, and handle the complex language pretty well, but I can't produce that stuff, I can just understand it. Sad I know. But just for some to know, Digital Foundry is one of my favourite places to go, in terms of Tech knowledge in regards to games.

But, let's keep that aside.

I'm also a B-movie fanboy, though I hate their plots and everything, I do enjoy watching them. Specially when it involves monsters or animals, like Alien Express, or Malibu Shark Attack. There is something, in that pile of "poo" that I find attractive, sexy and compelling enough to get stuck watching it.

Weird I know.

What else is there to say... Well, I did 2 years of Business Administration, but I quitted to help my folks at our own company, and now I'm the Foreign Sales Manager, so I'm doing well (yep, I had to build my career from the ground up).

I have an advanced knowledge of english, with a finished CAE exam (thats the Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge), and I make 1 trip to the USA once a year, possibly more in the coming years. This year I'm visiting New Orleans, though its mostly for business.

Sooo, I hope that things go well for all, I'm kind of tired of the stupid old console wars, it's better when it's based on software, as there is no nonsense involved there and no particular winner except devs.

See you all!
