Hello my dear Gamespot friends. It's been a while sinds my last blog update, so I hope you haven't all trickled away to other, obviously inferior blogs in a sudden flash of desperation. The System Warriors among you might have notice that I'm still active on this website, be it in another form (i.e. laughing at stupid, misinformed people). These days, most of my attention regarding writing articles and such is dedicated to NoobFeed.com (advertising, banned!), but that doesn't mean I have forgot about this blog or this site in general.
So, what have I been doing in the past couple of weeks/months? Gaming-wise, I have written several reviews and articles for NoobFeed, including a preview of STALKER 2, an article on sandbox games and reviews of respectively Crysis 2 and Streets of Moscow, which you can also read in my user review section since today.
On a related note, I like to think that my writing has been improving over the past period of time; as I mentioned in a previous blog, I took up cIasses in Academic English, and even though I consistently fail to do my homework (here's hoping my teacher never finds out about this blog), the course made me develop a sort of increased awareness of my own writing. I think much more about how the paragraphs are arranged, and I've already implemented some cool new words that I learned.
Without wanting to bore you with a wave of irrelevant personal details, it may be worth mentioning that I'm also going to give writing fiction another go, as I finally have some good ideas for a story, philosophical background and an overall concept of what I want it to be like. It'll be in Dutch, but I'll be sure to inform you once I've become a national celebrity and my book is set for an international release.
So, that's basically all I wanted to share for now, as there's nothing much going on apart from me partaking in such activities as writing my bachelor thesis and being hopelessly in love. I'm preparing another blog that is a bit more relevant to gaming, so be sure to check that out as soon as the excitement provoked by my sudden 'return' has become a bit more bearable.
Glück auf!
