I recommend Banjo-Kazooie as a must-play game.

Banjo and Kazooie is a game for N64. The Protagonists are a bear named: Banjo and a bird named: Kazooie. The Antagonist is a witch named: Gruntilda. The helper characters are a mole named: Bottles, who teaches you how to play/fight and gives you special abilities throughout the game, and a shaman named: Mumbo, who uses his shaman magic on you to transform you into to different things throughout the game to help you complete the levels, after you collect enough "Mumbo Skulls". The other character who is important is Banjo's sister: Tootie.

The plot is: that the witch: Gruntilda asks her magic cauldron to tell her who is the most beautiful girl in all the land and he tells her that Tootie, Banjo's sister, is the most beautiful girl. This causes Gruntilda to become angry, so she hops on her talking broomstick and flies down from her mountain lair to kidnap Tootie. Her lazy brother: Banjo, happens to be sleeping while Tootie is captured. So his sidekick: Kazooie wakes him up because he heard Tootie's cries. When they exit there house, Tootie is gone and their friend: Bottles the mole tells them that she has been taken up to Gruntilda's lair. In Gruntilda's lair, Gruntilda plans to transform Tootie's beauty to her, and her ugliness to Tootie. So Banjo and Kazooie decide to go up to her lair to save Tootie.

So the object of the game is to defeat Gruntilda and save Tootie, but unfortunately it isn't that easy. Throughout her entire lair are magical doors that prevent you from going deeper in her lair. The only thing that can break the spells on the doors are "musical notes" and each door needs a certain amount of them. the only way to collect these notes is to enter the worlds throughout her lair but you must open them must. The only way to open levels is to complete their puzzles, but you must use magic al, golden puzzle pieces called: "Jiggies" and you must collect them in the worlds. The first world only needs one "Jiggy" and that Jiggy is in the entrance way to the lair.

Their are: 100 "musical notes", 10 "Jiggies" and 2 "Honeycomb peices" (If you collect 6 of these, your health bar goes up. Your health bar begins with 5. Also you have a number of "lives") in each world. When you collect "musical notes" in a world, they are saved to your musical note total. But before you leave a world you should make sure you have 100 notes. This is because each world has a total number of notes (100) and the amount you got when you leave is your note "high score" (ex. 67/100) but unfortunately when you go back to the world you have to collect all the notes again. So if you collected 33 out of 100 note sand left the world, you would have to collect those 33 notes again before your score can go up, which means that your grand total of notes won't go up by those first 33 notes, it will only go up by the other 67. This adds a challenge to the game because you eventually will have to go back and raise your note scores in worlds that you didn't collect all 100 notes, and these worlds you will have to go back too will probably be the world's you had the most trouble with.

To collect the "Jiggies" you will have to do special challenges in the worlds. Some challenges with be easier than others, like just sliding down to it or going up to it. But others will be harder and some of those will involve transforming into different things to get "jiggies". To do this you must get the help of Mumbo the shaman and he will only help you if you collect "mumbo skulls". "Mumbo skulls are pretty easy to find. They are just lying around in the worlds. Some are hidden are in hard to reach places while others are in plain view. Things you have to turn into will vary from a crocodile, to a pumpkin.

There are many skills you must collect throughout the game, and items that you must collect for those skills like flying, you have to collect red feathers in order to fly. You will learn skills by playing the game and finding the mole, who is hidden througout the worlds.

This game is full of: Action, Adventure and Comedy. So you will have fun playing this game and you will enjoy the funny aspects of this game.
