I've been looking through all of these game and I have to admit, as good as 2004 was for games (With hits like MGS 3, Prince of Persia and others). But this year looks even better than the last with a great sleeper like Mercenaries, this year looks to be one of the best in history.

With great games like Destroy all humans, with it's zany approach to a Sandbox game, where you use stange alien weapons that turn people into skeletons to the ability to pick up and throw humans mercilessly will be, at the very least, a riot. Also there are promising games like Shadow of Rome, with it's Gory outlook on the roman lifestyle; Darkwatch with it's scary wild west location and location specific damage, not to mention strange weapons and some cool horseback fighting, it could be pretty good.

Brothers in Arms looks promising too, Finally a game that isn't just a mindless shoot-em-up, you've got to shoot, move and protect your squadmates using real military tactics to take out the germans. Oh yeah, did I mention everything looks amazingly real, and is based on the REAL France. Then theres God of War, probably the most promising and possibly best PS2 game ever! With it's insane combat and intensely bloody mini-games, it is very promising. The ability to rip of Medusa's head and use it later on to turn your foes into stone is simply aweinspiring. From fighting Medusa, the hydra or even Menotars this game looks and WILL BE AMAZING!!!

There are so many more promising games that have little information on them but could be great, like Rogue Trooper, Black and even the New Star Wars game, The Revenge of the Sith (that is being compared to "Prince of Persia with a better combat system" or so says IGN). This year is shaping up to be the BEST year gaming has ever had! I'll give you my opinions as more inforation comes out on these games. Hopefully I'll be able to add more.
