I just bought a 360 and a copy of GRAW. I notice that sometimes during gameplay (single player) my teammates, the badguys, etc have a nice little outline corresponding to which side they're on. For instance, bad guys have a bright red outline. For some reason this helpful little feature turns off every now and then and I can't figure out how to make it come back on. I skimmed through the manual and found nothing.

If anyone could inform me on how to get my handy little silhouettes to come back on, I'd be forever in your debt!

I just purchased an Xbox 360, which is the first console I've ever tried to play an FPS type game on. I'm so used to playing games like Counterstrike and Halflife on a PC with a mouse and keyboard that I''m having a really hard time aiming with the two analog joysticks. I know there are plenty of controllers that you can plug into your PC and play it like a console, but I need something that does the opposite for my Xbox.

In other words, is there any type of adapter type thing that allows the use of a mouse/keyboard combo on the Xbox?

Thanks a bunch for any replies.

Poopy.

I guess I'll have to deal with having my ass handed to me while I learn to shoot bad guys with this silly thing with all the colorful buttons and tiny joysticks. My butt feels sore and bloody arleady =(

Does anyone know if a mouse adapter sort of thing exists? Or will I just have to get used to playing shooters with a handheld controller instead of my beloved keyboard/mouse combo that I've grown up playing games with?

Thanks for all the replies guys. I just got home with my shinny new 360 and I still have money to spare. Now I just have one more silly question:

There are hundreds of USB "controllers" for PCs that make a PC play more like a regular console game. Are there any adapters like that which let you use a mouse to play a 360? I'm happy with my purchase, but I think I'm going to have a hell of a time re-learning to play FPS type games using a controller instead of a mouse. God knows I had a hell of a time getting used to PS2 games like Medal of Honor, etc. I did a tiny bit of research, but came up empty handed. Any suggestions?

Oh, and one more thing: How exactly do you download Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? What better way to enjoy my new $400 system than to play a 10 year old game.

Thanks again everyone.

I have kind of a pointless question, just out of curiosity. I've subscribed to Gamespot for a while now and always wondered what was up with the level 13(51%) stuff at the top right. I see that it gradually climbs, but I'm not sure why. Up until today I don't think I've ever posted on the forums, so I know it's not related to that. I don't really contribute anything at all, actually. I basically just read the forums, reviews etc.

I'm a little bored right now and was just curious about it. Is there any advantage to high rank? What's the highest it goes? It seems pretty neat, and I was just wondering about it.

Thanks - Dreadnought

Thank you King and Ismallchald, that's exactly what I wanted to know. I think I'll go with the 360, and maybe start saving a bit a more for one of the other two once they start to shine.

Actually, I really like the selection of games on the 360. But to summarize my question:

Do you think the 360 holds up to the Wii and PS3 as far as technology is concerned? Or are the Wii and PS3 basically on their own level?

Thanks again. I'll try reposting this on the General board.
