Hi. I've always wanted to play Mass Effect but I've held off buying it for fear that my PC won't run it... specifically I'm not sure my video card would handle it. I would be running windows XP natively on my iMac. From other forums I have determined that my video card is a slightly underclocked mobility radeon 2600 xt (not the 2600 Pro that Apple advertises). Of course, I'm not going to get high detail settings, AA, and super high frame rates but I would like to run in natively at 1680 x 1050 if possible and at reasonable framerates. I ran a performance test of my GPU and it produced aPassMark 3D Mark of around 345... somehow above the listed average for my card. Bioware lists their minimum video cards as having similar 3D mark scores as my card. Any ideas whether it will be able to run Mass Effect? My primary computer specs are listed below. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

Intel Core 2 duo at 2.4 Ghz

3 Gb of 667 Mhz ram

Mobility Radeon 2600 XT (256 MB)

Thanks for all the info... I really want the others too, but they're so hard to find. It must mean they're good! But I think this one may be my last GBA purchase... (single tear):(

See topic...

My local EB just got a surplus of Mega Man Zero 4 games. I am a long time fan of mega man II for the NES and I've heard good things about the "Zero" series. Usually these games are hard to find though, so I'm asking if it's worth getting a copy?

Yes, I would like to know too. In particular, I was wondering if mega man "Zero" 4 is worth getting (seeing as it's practically the only one I can find these days).

nah i don't care what people think as long as the games are good. i'm 16 and Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime is currently one of my favorite DS games. I just started playing through Chocobo Tales, and I'm considering getting Pokemon. I enjoy those games because while they may appear childish on the outside, they are actually quite deep if one takes the time to play through those games.fmobliv06

This 16 year old makes more sense than most adults I know!!  :shock:

[QUOTE="SmashBrosLegend"]I'm not a fan of realistic racers. I prefer F-Zero GX.Funkyhamster

Need for Speed realistic? :|

Certainly more realistic than F-Zero GX!! I have this game, it's good too. But back on topic... :P

I own a gamecube and I feel the need to tear up some pavement in one of the "Need for Speed" titles. Can someone tell me which NFS (gamecube version) they think is the best or the most enjoyable and why?

Sadly, I have to agree with the poster. I just couldn't get into it, the controls are confusing and battle outcomes seem arbitrary. It is somewhat fun with three other players but my earlier comments dampen the fun factor.

Nice Collection!! I notice that you're not partial to sports games but I myself enjoy Mario Golf (Toadstool Tour) and Mario Power Tennis. You should consider them:)
