Been thinking bout picking up Everquest 2 but could use some help regarding a few things.

Is the game worth picking up nowadays? The originol game itself sells for like 5 bucks, which is why im wondering. It has so many expansions is it easy to jump into with just the originol Everquest 2? Or has it basically been reduced to only hardcore players like Dark Age of Camelot?

So I have this friend, close friend, that i've been trying to get to buy a ps3. Well he finally did, and he likes it which is great. Now I think my friend has the rare illness known as Alergicdosquality.

Also known as Alergic to good games. My friend hates Metal Gear Solid, refuses to even try the Devil May Cry Demo. Shows no interest at all in Uncharted, and refuses to buy Heavenly Sword because of the length. Hell he got Motorstorm free with his console but hates it. I told him it was great online but he refuses to boot it up online.

Hell the only franchise I know the guy loves are God of War, Dynasty Warriors, or Unreal. Now lets take a step back, he also refuses to play any Final Fantasy game other then 10. Which he has beaten 5 or 6 times. He has his mind set on particular franchises and is totally unopen to change.

Now my question, is how can I miraculosly enlighten him to great games I know he is missing out on? :/

Ok so I bought Oblivion for the ps3 when it was released beat it 3 times then sold it becuase i had it on the pc as well. *Saved my save files.* Recently I've wanted to play Shivering Isles badly, so I got it on the pc, it crapped out on me figures right?

Anyway I was wondering if I got GotY edition on the ps3 would I be able to pick up my old save files? Either that or if I bought Shiv Isles on the ps3 would I be able to return my old saves to Cyrodil or would they be stuck eternally in the realms of madness and Dementia :)?
