I personally wouldnt like it if it was first person only. I'd have to look into it a lot more to get interested but it doesn't look like it's really doing anything new.
If you want a serious guild and don't want to get stuck with some random guild its best to wait till you complete the compaign. Other wise it shouldn't be hard to join someones guild who you meet up with in game.
If you game enough then it's cheaper than buying 3 console games a month if it can take that number down to 1 because you spend more time playing the MMO rather than gaming console or buying new PC games all the time.
Happened to me all the time in Oblivion. I mustve made atleast 20 characters in that game. It's probably the reason why I never got all the way through it but could also because of how easily I was distracted from the main storyline.
