My power supply has been making a lot of noise lately when the computer is on for a while...is there anyway that i can make it so it wont make so much noise or is it that the fan blades are loose?
thats weird b/c the cpu usage never gets higher than 40% and im not sure about the hardware issue, maybe is just that dust constantly gathers up on the power supply and the heatsink fan but i always clean it every 2-4 weeks...could it be somethin else? since im guessin explorer is the only problem?
Yesterday, my computer was doing fine everythin was great until at one point, my background desktop items didnt show up at all and also the taskbar on the bottom disappeared completely, i cant even rick click on it...i tried to do a system restore on safe mode, but the same issue occurs in safe mode, the only way i am able to see websites or open programs is to open the task manager CTRL, ALT, DEL and click on file and then new task run...i also tried running explorer.exe and when it ran everythin was back to normal but the next second it just disappeared and kept reappearing and it ended up gone just like b4....is there anyway i can fix this?

I am thinking of buying windows xp professional or windows xp home edition...but i dont know which is better...all i know is that xp pro has more benefits but then again its way more expensive...which one would u recommend?
