This is actually quite interesting but wouldn't there be a piece of technology more suited to this type of study? It seems a tad bit coincidental that the Kinect was the best piece of tech to use, it almost seems like a clever sales pitch from Microsoft.

The Wii was not lucky, it simply filled a gap in the market that reached out towards families and casual gamers alike. It was one of the first consoles to use motion controls and implemented them to the best of its ability and undoubtedly attracted the attention from many and at an arguably reasonable price. Sure the system wasn't a powerhouse unlike the Xbox 360 and PS3 yet it offered unique features and took interactive motion controlled gaming a step forward.

Nintendo is awfully confident that Smartphones aren't going to intrude on their sales and I'm unsure on how t receive this. Whether this is a clever mindset or a foolish one is yet to be seen and I am eager to see what cards Nintendo will play in the near future. And hopefully Sony's Playstation Vita can get a few hints from Nintendo also find it's solid ground...I'm starting to regret my purchase.

I'm hoping that there will be some serious gameplay tweaks as I'm looking for something fresh from this title and Gears desperately needs something f.r.e.s.h. Don't get me wrong, gears is one of my all time favorite series however I have no desire to do the identical thing I just did in Gears 3 only a few months ago with the only notable difference being that I'm playing as Baird/Cole. I am interested in the idea of their back stories so if the the gameplay still stays identical I will simply treat it as a rental.

This is quite impressive and I'm really liking the design of this console! Blue LED lights on the controllers as well is a nice addition, along with the sound effects. I'm still using my 360 Elite and was debating whether to pick up a Slim but I'll give it some thought and I may own one of these soon...
