@StokeMeAClipper I know that MY web access is lousy. I get tossed off servers all the time because my hookup is so slow. I'm a big fan of my PS3 and PS4 because I don't have to have access to ANY clouds. And, like others have mentioned, I like to have my games in my hands, not "out there" somewhere.
You guys have opened my eyes to a couple points I never thought of, like "not having the same name since you were 14". I'm a little put back about being accused of not having "empathy" though. I was just expressing an opinion or a view on the subject, which is what I thought this forum was about. Sorry if I stepped on any toes. It was never the plan.
Well, since the only thing I play on my PS4 is GT Sport, I haven't seen any problems and didn't know there WERE any. However, with my super lousy web connection it took for F'ing ever to download and install the update. That, followed with the same "watch paint dry" speed for the latest GT Sport update.
@jcharp: Finally, political correctness takes over the movie industry and we get - Black Panther. If it had been a white guy and they called it "White Tiger" it never would have gotten off the cutting room floor. Bring back "Shaft".
I started watching wrestling back in the 50's when it wasn't quite so extravagant, but still 'wrestling'. And it was on black and white TV - GASP!
The likes of Nature Boy Buddy Rodgers, Sweet Daddy Siki, Bearcat Wright, Haystacks Calhoun, Antonio Rocca, and on and on, were our stars back then. Ray Morgan was the announcer most of the time. Same chair banging, rope jumping, distracted 'referee' stuff that goes on today. Just not as much face makeup, *** clothes, boas, and boasting about prowess. Loved it then. Love it now!
I fought this tooth and nail (upgrading to PS4 from my PS3). I pretty much play GT6 - period. Well, that's going away in about a month (the online play). We just bought a 4K TV, so I went for the Pro model to finally upgrade. My internet is SO bad it took 18 hours to download the upgrades to GT Sport. 18 HOURS! But, the graphics are SO much better than on the aging PS3 and GT6, for me it was worth it.
However, since most of this game is going to be online, I may find I'm screwed when it comes to getting the most out of the game. I haven't tried to logon and do online play yet (since I just got finished downloading overnight while I slept . . .) so it still remains to be seen, what I can do.
Doing many 'speed tests' on my internet, I find it's better at different times of the day. I DON'T want to be up all night just to race!
