I don't think they should spend money on developing one; Sony is hanging by one string as it is, I don't think Microsoft will do any better.
These numbers are nothing short of insane, unfortunately its the nature of the industry, and something similar to digital distribution will have to be done sooner than later. The industry needs to evolve to stay one step ahead of the pirates.
like previous people have said, just leave; every map works for at least one person out there, so the map isn't broken.
Battlefied 1943 isn't much money so you should go for it, at least if you really enjoy the battlefield games.
