SE has heavily invested all of its eggs in the ps3. If the ps3 fails there is a high possibility SE will also fail.

PS3 Hardware won't sell because there is no System Sellers.

There are no System sellers because PS3 doesn't have a System seller.

With SE things usually aren't fickle in terms of exclusivity. They even came out the door saying The Last Remnant was for two consoles, I can't think of a game in their past that they've pulled that marketing tactic with.

True but this generation is different from previous generations due to high dev costs. If they dont want to go out of business then they have to start thinking of ways to recoup some of the losses that they will be getting because as of right now the ps3 is even selling worst than the game cube in japan at this point of time.

But you got to take into account will most Xbox 360 fans aka Shooter Macshooter even know what Star Ocean is as a series?

There not going to spend time and money on something that is going to make them lose money.

I don't think SE needs to worry about their titles. Some of their games are what make people get systems to begin with (ie "system sellers").

Well SE is looking at long term growth for the PS3.

PS3 needs a System Seller Desprately right now.
