I'm going to pick up a gamepad for my racing games but which one would be better? I'm thinking the Xbox controller would be best because of it's triggers would allow me to press however much I wanted on the throttle. The Rumblepad is configured just like a PS3 controller, with NO triggers.

So my question really is... do triggers give you any sort of advantage in a racing game?

I'm going to sell my Wii (Switched over to PC gaming), and I'm looking for a good portable system with LOTS of great titles, and most importantly a portable that has a bright future ahead of it (future releases). I've already bought 2 PSP's and sold them because there were hardly any games out. Last time I owned a PSP was during the time when Jean D'arc was released.

So what do you guys reccomend?
