well you could pay $6 to rent it, and beat it once.
or you can pay 10 times that amount to buy it, and beat it a few times.

i dont know why people dont rent more often. Do it as much as possible until gaming goes fully digitally distributed!

And try the demo. I dont know why people deny that thats how the game actually is.

Infamous (just not 9.0 caliber. 9.0s seem like GOW's or MGS's)

Oblivion and Fallout 3 (dreary, not thrilling in the slightest bit. And the dialogue camera angles are enough to put me off)

Cod4's multiplayer (requires no brain)

Cod: WAW (feels very last gen)

Redfaction: guerilla (destruction is sweet, but not 8.5 sweet)

I think wii development costs are significantly lower than 360/ps3, which means that seemingly lower sales doesnt mean low profits. But im not sure bout this.

but an argument for the other side: if profits are low, then yes developers would be smart to make hardcore games for the 360/ps3 instead of the wii, because thats where the hardcore audience is. For this reason I dont see why wii owners are dissapointed that not many hxc wii games are developed. If you want to play hxc games get a 360/ps3.

I also thought Infamous' story was extremely over-rated. All characters are so unlikable.

Worst: MGS4

Best: MGS4

So cluttered and poorly written, but for some reason I just love it.

i think it depends on the kind of game. Unlike games decades ago, games now are becoming more about an immersive experience. However, an easy difficulty can make it seem like your character (yourself) is not actually under severe circumstances that they are usually plagued with from the narrative.

i think the best game is one that does not have you repeat sections over and over again (especially in exciting set-piece moments that wear thin after repetition). However, the game needs to make you feel that it is your ability that enables you to progress.

(mgs4 microwave scene for example: i dont think ive ever failed that section, but it always feels like im going to if i dont tap like crazy)
