I played II and III and liked them both. I don't remember which one, but it was one of my favorite rpgs. Thinking about picking it up again.

I guess I'll give it another go then. If it takes too long to start getting good I might just have to retire it for good though.

I guess I'll have to give it another shot then. There are too many mixed opinions to go on just one. I did like FFX a lot though.. mostly for it's nice battle scenes and even though it was turn based there was still a lot of strategy to it. I just can't see playing through the game again. So we'll see how it goes with XII. How long is the game compared to X? Main storyline anyways.

I've never played either of those. Since digging out my ps2 I might have to go pick them up though. Whats the main idea behind the stories? Also are they anything like xenosaga as some one mentioned above? I own xs1 and 2 and don't care for either of them.

I'm a huge fan of the FF series. Played a lot of them for psx, and most for ps2. Number 12 is about the only one I havn't played. I picked it up for 15 bucks and threw it in my system. I played for about 30 minutes or so. I have to say I don't really care for the battle system at all. So I'm asking if you guys would recommend it as a good game, story wise and gameplay wise. Also does the battling get any better? My main issue was that I was taking a lot of damage when trying to attack because I couldn't position right and I would have to run up on top of enemies and try the attack button a couple times before he would swing.

Few quick questions on this psp title. 1. Sometimes after a little while of playing my D pad starts screwing up. Pressing down or up will make it go in whatever direction it pleases multiple times. Left and right will spaz out too. Makes it a huge hassle going through menus. I've never noticed this with any other games though. Also, shutting down the system for a little while seems to fix it for a little while. Sometimes it will happen right away when I start playing too. So whats the deal? Anybody else notice this? I also have a couple questions on the new game +. As of right now I havn't beaten the game yet, so try not to spoil anything. I heard when you get new game + you get to keep all your items and materia. Is this just equiped items and materia or everything in your inventory? Also do they keep the level of the spell and whatever materia fusions you've done to add +mag and whatever else you've modified? When you get new game + does it also save your character levels or dmw people you've unlocked? Finally, a quick question on the missions. Do you actually get anything from finishing all the missions other then what you find on them? So far I feel like I've done a million of them and I'm only 20% done with them. Also do you get to keep these in the new game + as well or do you have to redo them all? So far the game seems good though. I just finished the part where you chase Hollander and fight the scorpion tech. Now I've just been doing some of the missions. I looked up any hints or secrets but there doesn't seem to be any other then new game +. So fill me in please. Thanks

I'm probably wrong, but I remember hearing from somebody that you either have to purchase or download new songs. I wouldn't really know though since I don't have the game so take it however you want.
