Blogging

Ok. My first Blog and I just thought I better tell you. I don't do this kind of thing very often, scrap that I never do this kind of thing. It's not really me. So, I wouldn't expect a radical increase in blogs cause I think this will be my first and last.

Anyways, I've noticed lately that although graphics are improving rapidly, and who doesn't love a game with beautiful graphics (Note: Shadow of Colossus). I'm starting to find the story lines boring and repetitive, sometimes its ok with franchises like pokemon and cod because its what you come to expect a simple easy to follow goal.

But recently I started playing 'Radiant Historia' which alerted me to how 'Linear' many games storylines are becoming. Don't get me wrong I love me some Zelda but just once wouldn't you like to see Link in a scenario that doesn't involve saving the princess? Maybe working together with the princess or even him acting more like he did in the cartoons?

I think we're losing our imagination and fast. I think the games designers need a drastic overhaul if we want enjoyable games that make us think a little and not mind numbing linear story line crap.
