I notice a lot of hate towards Games on Demand haha, I understand they can be found cheaper. I chose to pay the little extra for the convenience of not having to leave my apartment to go buy it, or wait a week to have it arrive in the mail. The only drawback in my opinion is forgoing the extra space on the hard drive (trading them in gives you back almost nothing, so the replay value on ANY game is worth the $4.00 gamestop is going to give me, and any game that will net me more than that I'm going to likely keep because it's a great game. I also fundamentally have something against used games as a game developer myself, but that's another argument).

I guess the 120GB HD is definintely worth it from these comments, I think I'm going to grab one off Amazon. Thanks for the help!

Got a question for you guys:

Now that the 360 has the Games on Demand feature, I'm consistently finding myself deleting old crap off my xbox that I never use, but I've finally reached a point where I've filled up my hard drive with stuff I actually want to keep. I've got Burnout Paradise and Halo installed right now, taking up a good 4GBish of space, and forget installing my games anymore (I usually only keep the current game that I'm playing installed, but I can't even do that). I've got a bunch of TV shows I'd like to keep, along with a bunch of Arcade Games that I absolutely love.

I know the natural answer here is to just buy another Hard Drive, and I'd do that without hesitation if that meant it would simply increase my storage space, but do I have to transfer my gamertag onto the Hard Drive I'd like to currently use everytime? Aren't there other problems like keeping the data consistent? Is there any way to corrupt the data?

How many of you out there regularly use more than one Hard Drive, and is it a serious hassle? Because I really don't want to drop a ridiculous amount of money on a new hard drive to find out it's an absolute b*tch to deal with while gaming.

I believe people will say "blog it".one_on_one

Nope, this is directed at PS3 owners and lovers. This is a confession written by a PS3 skeptic, saying...you are right. The PS3 kicks ass.

Let me begin by saying I had the original Xbox pre-ordered, spent the majority of my time last generation on my Xbox while the PS2 collected dust, and have only had the Xbox 360 since release.

Let me say now that as a lover of video games in general, I seriously have hurt my experiance over the past 2 years by turning to the subpar xbox games instead of just swallowing my pride and buying a PS3. I had been hoping and praying for a 360 release of MGS4 and when the Touch teaser showed up, my spirits reached a new height...only to come crashing down with the announcement that it was indeed not coming to the 360, but the iPhone. This is what drove me to buy a PS3, and I couldn't be happier, because with my beautiful copy of MGS4 I bought LBP, Resistance 1 and 2, Uncharted, and Warhawk.

In my opinion, Metal Gear Solid 4 is the best game ever made. Ever. It speaks volumes of the PS3's technical capabities and quite frankly, I don't think it would be as great if it was released for the 360, although this is not the topic of this post. I've played through and have been enjoying the above games for the past few months and I am blown away by how ignorant my past self once was. The PSN absolutely needs work, but I must say I think it was the best purchase I have made gaming-wise...in 20+ years of playing games.

I still love my xbox, and I love my PS3. No longer am I a fanboy, but an incredibly satisfied gamer. I look to the future of gaming in general, and it is good.

PS3 fans, I salute you.

EDIT: And by future I mean: Killzone 2. *$#%ing awesome. That is all.

Legally it's a STATE ID, but a lot of guys who work at gamestores really dont care. You could hand them a gift card and it would be enough. However, you might get unlucky and have the manager either ringing people up, or looking over the guy's shoulder. In that case, you definitely need a state issued ID.

Ugh god this movie will suck. It's unfortunate, because its such a fabulous game, but Uwe is really an atrocious director. I didn't know he had his hands on this, I think I just died a little inside.

just keep your priorities straight, and don't think of it as a chore or your responsibility...

you definitely don't wanna miss a minute of your kid growing up just to play video games...

I completely agree. My brother had a boy about 3 years ago, and he's the one who introduced me to it 17 years ago. He was a gamer before, and still is. The little guy is already king of the Wii, and my bro can still kick my ass in Halo (I play waaay more than he does..). Yes he had to cut back his gaming a little bit for the first year or two, but by no means has he called it quits. Like evrybody else said keep your priorities striaght and you'll be gaming for the rest of your life.

Agreed.

COD4 was downright awesome, and 2 had the best out of the ones set in WWII
