Nice to know, never really intended on buying the game. I like the devs as well, just honestly can't get enthusiastic about the games theme and plot, especially when the gameplay is predictable as ever. Compared to Freedom Fighters for instance.skrat_01
Is that it? Do you just take a starngers opinion as fact and avoid a game? How about trying it first?

If you don't mind messing around with DosBox, you can play some great old PC games like Elder Scrolls 1 & 2 and Alone in the Dark. Abandonia is the site to visit for them. I mentioned this in another thread but GTA 2 is still fun.

Try a free/shareware or open source game. Something like Freeciv maybe?

Try a Civilization game? You go through the Medieval period and the games have a huge amount of depth.

Well for a start there is no such thing as a British accent. Secondly I'm sure there were a lot of British actors in DA:O. And I'd rather hear a European voice in a game than American like in every other game.
