I'm a HUGE RPG nerd so it'll be mainly RPG. Persona 3: Most massive and innovative game ever. Talk to people at school in a sim dating style and then create your monster in a fusion set up and then like in pokemon, you go and kick some demons ass. All while shooting yourself to release your demon. That was epic, and the game is long to so it's worth getting. Tales of The Abyss: AMAZING GAME. The battle system was new and fun. The characters were some of the most amazing part of the story. The story was insane and the villain made you understand him but at the same time, completely insane. Great game. Those are the game I truly loved and will likely never forget it so I put them on this list.
Stick with the game!!!! The first and third act are the better ones. The second felt bland though. Most Tales of third act are some of the most epic scenes.
Almost every single Zelda game. I had a little history with the Zelda universe. I would love the concept and love to look at art or even watching Let's Plays of the game but playing it was different. The only Zelda game I actually got hooked was Ocarina of Time and that was WAY later. The first few hours would make me want to go to sleep and it was not action enough for me. I had no idea why it was so popular during kid link but eventually I became addicted when I became an adult. It was worth it and I loved the game after that but the other Zelda game still have not got me hooked yet like Ocarina of Time and even that took a while.
