Im looking into civics, not only for gas but for the tuning abilities. My car experience is severley limitied. So I figure it would be easy to work with a car everyone knows and eventually move up.

Okay, I need to get something off my chest, and...this is really the only forum where i have a username to do it, so here goes:

First of all, to all you people who are blaming Sony for the crime committed AGAINST them, think a minute before you begin angrily typing. In no way is the company Sony to blame for this massive intrusion by an outside source. Hacking nowadays is extremely sophisticated. Sometimes, people actually succeed in getting where they're not supposed to be. The damage, realistically, to Sony at large will probably be minimal. They will lose some customers to the X-Box 360, I'm sure (if the other forums full of pissed off ranters is any indication), but I believe on the whole, people will choose to remain with their PS3s. I know many people who have both systems. So don't go around blasting the company that was victimized by this cyber-crime. And don't go spouting off about actually wanting to SUE Sony, it's an empty threat and you know it. And finally, to everyone who has been complaining about the lateness of Sony's announcement, that it should have come sooner, they didn't know until yesterday! Think for a second, when a network as big as the PSN gets hacked and you don't know where it comes from, or what was taken/messed with, you have to look through every aspect of the network, that doesn't happen overnight. I'm not denying that I felt a little agitated about the lack of information we were getting, but people who are calling it a "coverup" and that Sony "lied"...don't be absurd.

Second, for people who are worried about their credit card information being stolen, what I plan to do about it, is to go to the bank, cancel my current credit card, get a new one, and change my PSN login information as soon as the network is back up in probably about a week according to what I've read. PSN will have limited online access when it does come back up. What I believe will happen is that conducting ANY financial transactions on the network will still be disabled, probably for several days, while customers are given the chance to change their profile info. Once that's done, I believe they will slowly bring the full network back online. It really is as simple as that. Plus, I think some people are jumping to conclusions, the notices have explicitly stated that there is "no evidence" that credit card information was stolen, they are simply not ruling out the possibility. So either be vigilant and keep a close eye on your credit card account, or cancel it and solve the problem all together.

So, is the PlayStation 3, for the moment, a crippled system? Yes. Should Sony have kept their customers more in-the-loop through this crisis? Probably. Is this situation Sony's fault? No.

If you want to blame anyone, blame the person(s) who have so much technological expertise that they feel they have to put it to use by committing crimes.

Sorry for the wall of text, but it just bothers me so much to see so many people turning their anger and frustration toward a company that does so much and gives a ton of service to their consumers instead of putting it where it should be.
