Will Fable 3 end up like its predecessor?

Fable 1 was a great game, its RPG and fighting elements were entertaining and there was so much to do in Albion. Enemies and bosses were a real challenge. Fable was one of the most innovative games on Xbox. Then along came Fable II which Peter Molyneux said would be better than Fable 1. We were shown snippets of gameplay footage and rumours online and couch co-op got us all excited. We were anticipating another thrill ride through Albion but we didn't. Sure we got to explore a new and bigger Albion. Sure we got a new compelling story. But it wasn't Fable 1. The story was too short, there weren't enough side-quests, quests got repetitive as the game went on, your morale was barely tested, and the menus were horrible and confusing. It was an acceptable game but it wasn't what we wanted. Now we have seen bits and pieces of Fable 3. It looks very good, great in fact but thats what we thought when we saw Fable 2 teasers. So will it live up to its expectations or fall way below the line of gaming? Autumn 2010 wil reveal all....

SplitScreen Gaming Becoming History

I've been playing games since as long as i can remember and am a rabid fan of splitscreen gaming. Its way better than online. Sure, you can only have up to 4 players but it's way more fun that way. Laughing with your friends and socializing properly on the sofa while blowing each others heads off on the consoles is way more entertaining than communicating with some Chinese kid over a headset who can't speak English. But, everyone seems to be going with online multiplayer. I think it's a sad thing to see splitscreen multiplayer, a feature that has been with us for years dieing out like this. I just hope online doesn't end up the same way...
