The developers crying over used sales is nothing but a bunch of greedy, money-grubbing, whining. Do you really think the game industry is the only industry with used sales? HELL NO! Everything has a used market. Get over it!
@KonaCorgi You can't really believe that the same thing wasn't happening then, do you? The war between Sega and Nintendo drove console innovation for years. Atari's Jaguar was a failed attempt to jump above the competition with superior hardware. All of Sega Genesis's add-ons were attempts to knock the SNES down a couple pegs.
Trying to revolutionize console gaming has always been something that's been around, 10 years ago or today.
I really don't understand how most of the gaming community sees this as a good thing. I don't understand why people don't want to see what's on the horizon for Nintendo. And I don't understand why they'd want to see one of the biggest events in the gaming world to be downsized.
It just seems like change for the sake of change, to me. And that's never a good thing.
No big loss on the NES controller redesign, since we ended up getting the Dogbone style controllers to replace the hand-dent making original controllers.
Well I only pay for DLC if it's an actual full expansion to the game. Which is what DLC should be, not an extra character or set of armor here or there. If everyone else did this, then this nickel-and-diming us crap might go away.
