The Oscars start in about an hour, and while I know some won't agree with my predictions, these are my picks for the best of the following categories:

Actor: Daniel Day Lewis (There Will Be Blood)
Acress: Ellen Page (Juno)
Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men)
Supporting Actress: Tilda Swinton (Michael Clayton)
Animated Feature: Ratatouille
Art Direction: Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Cinematography: There Will Be Blood
Costume Design: Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Directing: Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old Men)
Documentary: No End in Sight
Film Editing: There Will Be Blood
Foreign Language: The Counterfeiters
Makeup: La Vie En Rose
Original Score: Atonement
Original Song: Happy Working Song (Enchanted)
Sound Editing: There Will Be Blood
Sound Mixing: Transformers
Visual Effects: Transformers
Adapted Screenplay: No Country for Old Men
Original Screenplay: Juno
I didn't put down for my documentary/live action/animated shorts, but that's because I honestly know nothing about them. My prediction for Ellen Page is the one I'm mostly sure might not happen (well, Ruby Dee might take supporting), but considering Alan Arkin winning Best Supporting Actor last year, and Crash winning Best Picture the year before, this seems like a kind of curve ball the Oscars are bound to throw.
