Wow.. That sucks balls dude. So what did you end up doing ?? Im having freezing issues now a lot too. But with certain games.. Its happened when i got Assassins creed 2. i played it a lot and it started freezing quite often so i put it down and havent really played it since. Then Red Dead Redemption came out and i overplayed the crap out of that. Still to this day ive been playing it a lot but the last month or so its been freezing BIG TIME. i cannot play it without freezing. then some games rarely or never freeze. i even exchanged my red dead redemption for a BRAND NEW copy and it still occurs every time. i did some reading and found out it can be the disc drive or whatever that is dirty or dusty, and even though some games may freeze and some may not - it can be that it is just more pronounced on the games ive put more time on. I dont know if it is worth sending in and paying for repair because my warranty is over, and dont know if it will still occur eventually after repair as yours is. Did you send it in? Is it working fine? or did you get a new one and what would your advice be?
