by squad based games i thought you meant games like ghost recon and las vegas. I can't stand those. COD4 isnt really a squad game because you do play solo in that you dont hve to order the AI around. But i dont mind if a game is solo like bioshock say, or there are others with you, like COD4, as long as you dont have to order them around.

I also love games where you can do the campaign in co-op mode like gears 1 + 2 and halo 3.

i wish it had split screen too..

but considering how criterion games has been supporting the game pretty consistantly with free content before i dont mind paying a little bit for this.

Yeah I would have rather paid for the Bikes Add On than for this..

I hate how split screen gaming is dying. It still is the ultimate way to play. It's much more enjoyable and personal to have the friends round and taunt eachother in person rather than through a headset.

I would disagree with that statement, and I have a feeling that many would, including Criterion. I can see how split screen could be fun, but having your entire screen filled is a lot better than some friend sitting next to you.....to me anyway.

no way, having a buddy there is so much mroe fun. especially when you paly GoW or Halo 3 campaign together. so good.

Gears of War 1 + 2, BioShock, COD4 are all much better than Halo 3 IMO.

Since games like Crysis require a 6 grand rig to play to full potential, I've given up on PC gaming. Even the games with more average graphics require a rig worth well over a grand, unless you overclock and tweak, and fiddle around with the BIOS settings or whatever. You know what, after a 10 hour day, I dont want to have to stress about this stuff. I want to turn on my Xbox 360 and just play. Also my Xbox cost me a mere £130. Absolute bargain. Plus you dont have to worry about DRM and Securom rubbish that comes attached with lots of new PC titles.

As far as controls go, I always used to be PC biased for FPS games. I never liked playing FPS games on any console. But, once you get used to them, and it happens in like a day, its just as good as mouse and keyboard.

But to be honest with you, if you dont like the Xbox and all it will do is collect dust, just sell it and carry on with your PC gaming!
