Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
Fun game. Uneven at times. Surreal at other times. Loved the pawn use with other players.
This was an overall fun game. It starts out long and tedious with uneven fighting. It seems like the odds are stacked against you, but you eventually learn not to run too fast for too long, and how to use pawns properly.... Read Full Review

Batman: Arkham City
Great sequel. Not perfect, but pretty darn close.
Arkham City almost captures the same atmosphere as AA. The riddles are a little trickier. The open world concept is a little too open. You definitely feel the difference between the main story and the side missions... Read Full Review

Sure, it's a little more of the same, and shorter than AC2, but it's a fun ride through Rome.
For those of you who are looking for something different, maybe it will come with AC3, but for now, Brotherhood delivers a solid performance. Sure, it's more of the same, but I had so much fun with the previous game, tha... Read Full Review

Alan Wake
Aspiring filmmakers shouldn't try to make games.
I was thrilled that a co-worker was lending me Alan Wake. "Cool, I've heard about this one! It got great reviews on Gamespot." Well, I tried it out. Stunning scenery, but I don't know... After the first gripping op... Read Full Review

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (Collector's Edition)
Where did my Splinter Cell go?
I waited for the price to drop on this one, simply because of the so-so reviews and the descriptions of the game-play. It's definitely not the same old Splinter Cell, and that's a shame. Some of the new elements take ... Read Full Review

Batman: Arkham Asylum
Dark, disturbing, thoroughly enjoyable.
AA is an excellent game, and we need more like it. One or two parts get a little monotonous and occasionally frustrating, but, all things considered, it's well worth the money. Some of the riddles, where you have to l... Read Full Review

Assassin's Creed
Like meeting the girl next door after you've been away. You don't realize what you have until you look closer.
I didn't like AC1 when I first tried it. I put it down after the first introductory levels. Beautiful scenery and all, but the world was just too confusing, and the mechanics seemed so bizarre. I think the worst parts we... Read Full Review

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
It didn't blow me away, but fun. Definitely worthwhile as a used game.
Okay, so the storyline's mediocre, and reads like some fan-boy's script. It's definitely not The Knights of the Old Republic, but it combines some of the old Knights feel with some smash-em-up fun, and the result is not ... Read Full Review

Assassin's Creed III
One word: tedious.
Where to begin? Where to end? The interesting guy wasn't even the main character. And to tell the truth, he wasn't really that interesting. Most of his story is told through Quick Time Events - push this button and watc... Read Full Review

Assassin's Creed II
Beautiful and fun. Far outstrips the original.
AC1 was highly over-rated. I just couldn't get into it. Too many cut-scenes and not enough control. I would have waited for AC2 used, but someone gave it to me for Christmas. So, I gave it a chance, and wow! 100 times... Read Full Review
