I can now understand why some people hate/love this game. I'm somewhat between this line. I find this game challenging, complex, and really, really annoying!!!

I mean, the things people hate i agree... the fact you always have to do a mission from the beginning if you die, even if you are one step from winning, the fact that literally die by just walking... the fact that shooting in this game is a like hell without aiming... yeah... there were moments where i really wanted to punch this game...

But to be fair what really annoyed me the most where two things:

-First, the plot. I mean... God, this plot is stupid... it fells like i am the only one fighting in the resistance, sometimes it fells like there is no resistance. Really, where are the rest of the warriors? I won this war on my own. And the whole twist about past and future in the end really makes no sense... If samos is from the future, how is keira from the past? And the Metal-head leader? Why didn't he kill me when he had the chance? It pisses me off because, it didn't felt like a history, it felt like , well, a game. Some stuff where just waaaaay too convenient...

Second the final boss... that one really annoyed me mostly because people says Jak II is better than jak 3. Remember the last boss in Jak 3? Where you have to run in the desert and follow a giant spider-like machine, and shooting it's legs? That was awesome! Remember the last boss in Jak II? Where is just, shoot, dodge the attack and shoot... again, and again, and again... yeah... that pissed me off...

So yeah... i didn't like the style of jak II, i still think Jak 3 is better but i just can't hate this game. It's really hard sometimes, but maybe most of the ps2 games are just too easy... you know... like Jak and Daxter. The main problem is that dying is like breathing in this game, it gets really repetitive after a while... but i still like some of the creativeness of some levels, i love the over-board missions,i loved the mission where you have to cross a field of soldiers by shooting, it felt like one of Stallone's old action movies...

In fact, most of the game felt like an action movie... (you could beat this game with just the yellow gun...)

It was worthy? Yes. Would i do it again? No...

I still love Jak 3 more, i loved the desert missions, the light jak, the new powers for the dark jak, the plot, the cars, the upgraded guns... God i miss Jak 3...:cry:

I always wanted to create a game on my on style.If i could, i would make a game based on the Percy jackson´s books, and would make a gameplay similar to prince of Persia(because of the quick reflexes) and god of war(because of the magic attacks!).I don´t know if people would like but i know i would!

The game would have 15 levels with two boss for eachone.

It would be singleplayer of course...most of the multiplayer games are lame...

I´m really disappointed, i was expecting one of the best plataform game ever, but it make me really sad... Jak and Daxter is really small comparing with jak 3.In fact, Jak and Daxter is Jak 3 without cars, weapons, dark and light energy nor daxter. Even if the game is called Jak and Daxter You can´t play as Daxter at all, and for some reason Jak never speak in the game... The difference is that you can use new kinds of power but for a really short time and without weapons, you have to trust only in short range attacks... Seriously, i don´t know why gamespot gave Jak and Daxter 8,8 and jak 3 8,6 .

And the worst part is that i can´t even play Jak 3 anymore... My 11 year old cousin borrowed and his 6 year old brother destroyed... And i think it´s stupid to buy the same game twice, especially because i´ve finished the game twice...

Oh well, i guess jak II is my last hope...

I´m bored and have nothing to do...so...here are my top 5 favourite series of Ps2 games!

5-The prince of Persia - Great gameplay

4-God of War - Great fighting system

3-Kingdom Hearts - Great story and variety

2-Jak and Daxter - Good development

1-Ratchet and Clank - Really funny

Devil may cry and God of war are really two of the best series of the ps2 toghether with Princ of Persia, they only have one problem! the excess of carnage.the good of Prince of persia is that anyone can play! But the other two have too much blood, violence and sexual content! I don´t have any problem with the style, but wouldn´t be better if they make a game that enyone can play? Like Sonic the Hedghog , Mario, Ratchet and Clank, Prince of persia, Rayman and others... beause, if they make the best game of the world(yes i´m talking about God of War) and make availeble only for adults it becomes a little unffair don´t you think?

I now Prince of Persia has a few blood but it´s way less than the other two!

I´m probably sounding a total loser talking about this but i got a cousin of ten years and he loves God of War, but i don´t i want him to get too influenced by the game.

Really, the ps2 still has so much to give, but since the ps3 came out everyone acts as if the ps2 was dead! Come on!! What about all the great sucess of ps2? Kingdom Hearts-God of war-Devil may cry- Prince of persia-Jak and Daxter-Ratchet and Clank...At least they could make one last enjoyable game....
