Right from the get go I knew that Fallout New Vegas wasn't going to be another fallout 3. Though there's nothing wrong with that. Anyways, after you get your feet planted and are set for the wastes you immediately see the difference.
First in the graphics then the gameplay then at some point Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 couldn't compare, with little difficulty. I was sucked in and experiencing a whole new game. I was extremely glad that obsidian really did try making New Vegas their own. And they did a great job. I was enjoying the heck out of the game. New guns, awesome quests, new enemies, cool locations.
Another thing that makes New Vegas different from Fallout 3 was hardcore mode. Watching out for your sleep, food and water level is actually quite necessary to get your full worth on the game. For instance, you'll find yourself in constant lookout for food and water like if you were in the real world. And you'll have to watch what you carry, because in hardcore mode EVERYTHING has a weight to it. You feel more involved in the game.
Another cool thing New Vegas has is Factions. There are quite a lot them. And you're in constant hesitation with who you stand with. You see the positives and negatives in all of them. An ultimately it's your choice in anything not karmas choice.
Anyway this is only my first Entrée so be on the lookout for more on my aspirations along the road. Anyway, to know where I'm at in the game. I talked to Mr. House in New Vegas and I'm now exploring the south. See you next week fellow wanderers!!!
