Actually I don't know if this is a sacrifice exactly but I moved schools twice by the second time I gave up on making new friends (and the neighborhood I lived in was far away from all my friends) so I turned to video games to spend most of my not in school life and wound up with no life and few friends who still liked me lol

You do realize the firmware doesn't change the way that it is physically built right? If the above poster is telling the truth and the battery placement will cause the screen to overheat and crack, changing the firmware isn't going to change that. In that case... yeah, it does matter what gen you buy.
I wasn't replying to the person talking about the physical issues. I was replying to the poster stating that the V2 is better as far as sharing and exc. I obviously know that it doesn't magically take form into somthing better. Now why not try shutting your mouth until you know the exact freakin' context I got the info. out of ok?

When I finally "beat" Oblivion my game play time clocked in at about 67 hours. Even after I have gotten shivering isles and have done a ton of side quests and my gameplay time is around 90 hours now. This game will keep him busy if he rarely gets games thats for sure, and it is my all time favorite RPG, possibly even my favorite game while it lasted. I even have reason to play it again sense I beat half of it before I got my XBL gamertag so I only have about half of the achievments. (I wouldn't reccomend your cousin to do this though, im going to have to get highly motivated to restart this game lol.)
Truthfully I am fine with 16-24 players. Think about it, most games (except halo or COD) take forever to find all sixteen players anyway, so if you had a game that supported 60 players on the 360 the chances are that if it weren't a huge sell out game, you would never see more than 20 players anyway. When a game gets outdated this noticably happens as well. It is hard to find a party of 10 to play on COD2 now. All in all, I don't think it is really worth it, if a game can do it without producing lag, great, if not it won't change how I view microsoft's games anyway.
You are too old for video games when you start buying into the crap poloticians like Hilary Clinton say about games. Other than that you are never too old in my opinion "as long as you don't start being a parent figure online" to play games, and this is coming from me a 14 year old. Game on.
