Mass Effect 2 on the horizon

Mass effect 2 is set to blow us away on 26th Jan next year and a slew of vids can be found here and on youtube. The cinematic trailer has just released and it is just awesome.

It is just killing to know that my new school semester will have started...but...I will be sure to throw away my books for 3 days playing this game when I get it. =P

Nostalgic on Crysis

Few days back, I just had a sudden thought about Crysis, which I'm sure a huge number of gamers out there will know. I remembered the very cool opening intro movie and I went to search for it. Lucky for me, it wasn't that hard to find. So if anyone wants to take a peek, check out the WeGame website and search for 'Crysis Opening Video':

http://www.wegame.com

Also...it's time to do some redecorating of the banner and personal image around here and you guessed it, Crysis is going to be my theme... :-D

TV is my drug...

Even when the networks don't hiatus their show, I do that. It's been months since the latest season started, Man, am I glad to be back, catching up for ugly betty and house. I can never seem to just kick a show out of my mind once it sets my mind. More shows to catch...can't...stop...now

Xbox 0...for now

I wonder is this god's plans?

Just when my Mid-terms and mid-term papers are coming up, my x360 breaks down (yep...the RROD)...i guess he's taking distractions out of my life.

If my trust for the console hasn't drop till well...none...this is my 2nd unit that I'm sending in...and the first one wasn't even RROD, it was some stupid gpu error that cause my screen to display lines and dots.

Let's hope this 3rd one will last...but I highly doubt it...cause it's those first gen models...those infamous break-down-within-hours first gen x360s...just my luck!

World of Weirdos

What an "exciting" world...bunch of weirdos running wild out there. I just met 3 groups, let me share with you:

1st group: I was inside the lift with my friend. We stopped at the floor and a group of people got out. Outside the lift door, we saw a bunch of people, probably family waiting to get in, however, they didn't. So my friend press the door close button, but before it did, I saw the kid went to press the button. I was praying in my heart that it didn't be those that try to call the lift to early. It was worse. He pressed it so that he could open the door and travel upwards with us...when they were actually trying to go down. Weird!

2nd group: I was at the movie ticket counter with my friend buying tix. Suddenly, he told me people are queueing up behind. I was thinking what the hell are you talking about? It's an open queue system, like those in the bank. People will stop until they are being called by the counter staff. We are still here, so obviously that staff didn't call them. Weird!

3rd group: Now in the theatre, it was just some normal scenes and the people sitting beside me were "Whoo...Whaaaa...-ing" their way. Although I really wanted to shut their trap up, I'm just thinking it's my luck for getting weirdos sitting beside me. Weird!

Well, that's all I have for you folks for now. Just remember to stay away from the weirdos...

So much has happened...

Man, it's been so long since I posted on the blog here. So much has happened since I was gone...Well, reason I didn't post here was because I thought the problems were not for broadcasting. But hack now, why keep quiet just cause you're afraid to hurt him or her?

Rule of this world people: Take the initiative, otherwise prepare to bury yourself.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm right

Woah...just when you thought hypocrisy is only like THAT, it rears its extremely ugly face right in your ass.

It happened at work again (man, I do have a lot of work stories, sorry not trying to bore you guys), this woman, my god, she can act. Whenever our boss needs something, she runs around the office helping her, throwing everything aside. That equals to work piling up, and how she solves it? By pushing her workers over the edge. And when they fought back (Literally shouting at her for asking to calm down), she quiets down to a little cat. Man man man, such a person that "bullies the good and kiss the ass of the bad"

It's so not my illusion. This one day when I was on the train going home, I was listening to the iPod. So naturally, I didn't hear my cell. I took it out for a routine check to see if there was any messages from home (about dinner). I was like, "What the HELL?" There were 3 missed calls, it isn't a lot but I'm not a businessman so I don't get THAT much calls. So I called one of the number back, and it was my colleague asking for someone else's number. So I told him I don't have it. A few minutes after I put down the phone, SHE called, and asked the same thing. What got my flared up is what she said, "Boss wants to find this so-and-so (the one that my colleague was asking about)." ARGGGGHHHHH, she smiles and always thank you but after so many times of stressing and ... all this going after the boss's ass, it got me thinking whether did she really mean it?

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm right, but her actions cannot be disregarded.

Priest with a pitchfork

There are people who just can't get enough of themselves, they have to SHOW it to other people.

Recently, one of my colleague (also my friend) got blasted by his superiors for not doing something he wasn't suppose to do at work. And it wasn't spreading confidential papers.

So after several worthless minutes, my friend, a mellow one, came back to his desk, nothing said as later I found out from him in his words, it wasn't that much of a deal. To be honest for the first time, I actually meant my words when I scolded (not in front of his face, of course, I still want my job) him, "F***ing B****RD!" Why? Cause I know he's also a rulebreaker himself. You know, always missing, always taking leave, and talks with that damn sarcasm in his mouth I just wish he choke himself to death with.

Come on man, if you can't adhere to the rules yourself, how can you expect others to do it? When people puts it nicely, it's hypocrite. When they don't, it just means you are too full of yourself that you can't see your own steps because your eyes are on your head. Stop acting like you're some kind of moral high-priest when you're actually the one holding the hugest pitchfork.

In tune to the frequency

I'm sure many us have used the phrase 'he's not on the same frequency' many times to describe people. We all know it's true, but teachers always tell us that variety always brings in the colour.

I had a discussion with my friend after a movie today, and quite a good one. I discovered the fact that even though different people can be friends, they have to 'be on the same frequency' for something, because something in common is the only thing that can keep a relationship going. That's also the only time variety can play its colours.

And if being 'on the same frequency' can't happen, at least make sure the companion isn't a mouth-blaster. What I mean is that he doesn't insult everything you do or questions about your life choices. I wouldn't say it is boring or angry going out with this kind of person, but I would definitely say that it gets tiring.

In fact, I have met these kinds of friends, those who blast you all the way and those who actually try to be your friend even though they don't find some of the things you do interests them. Then, you will somehow find a way to accomodate them too, or maybe you might be the one to start it. That's how relationship can grow.

Working with the shackles

What if you were being told that you and your colleagues in your department has to go for some function that other workers in other departments actually has a CHOICE in it? How would you feel? Will you feel more 'substandard'? Cause your colleagues, same as a human like you actually has the freedom of choice whereas you don't!

To be true, I never understood why was it that attendance is compulsary for my department and not others? They really got to start thinking and not just trying to fill the seats at the function, and trust me when I say that it isn't a lunch or dinner function. It's something much worse than it.
