Hmmmm its funny u should ask! My xbox elite is (was!) 14 months old & i was fed up of having over 90GB on my HDD, installed about 10 games onto it.... ....2 days later, the dreaded RROD! (thanx santa) I'm not saying that caused it (obviously just bad timing!), as i agree with a previous post....it'll help the drive more, as its spinning a lot less
I recently transfered my data onto a 120GB HDD (using the disk & cable) Everything i had on my 20GB HDD worked fine after transfer...the only downside being, i have to connect to xbox live before i can play my 'live arcade' games (if i dont connect to live, they show up as 'free trials'...not the full game's) This happens when u download something then change the console or HDD u 1st downloaded it onto... ...Its microsofts cr@ppy way of checking u own the license! I think once u transfer to the bigger HDD, it will be NXE-ified...as the update should transfer from yr smaller HDD (hope that helps?)
Epic wanted the maps to be free, it was the mighty hand of microsoft that made them put a price on them...the maps are pretty cool IMO, if like me (& every1 else) half of yr buddies have em & the other half dont...just wait till September when they become free
