In this second match-up we feature two games that both turned there consoles into a well buying product just to play that game and they are. Halo for the Xbox and the classic Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis.

VS.

Graphics

Ok first off both these games have good graphics in different categories like how Halo has great graphics in 3D and Sonic has great graphics in 2D, and this makes it very difficult to decide which has the better graphics, however since Halo has 3D and Sonic doesn't and they could have had 3D since it was around back then. Advantage Halo.

Gameplay

This was as well very interesting on deciding due to the fact that the Sega contoller has only 5 buttons which makes the gameplay that much more easier to handle, where as the xbox controller has 8 buttons plus the two joysticks that you have to control the movement with, I must say that it makes the game more interesting, and there are little to no impossible movements in Halo whereas in Sonic you are consticted. But Sonic does have a better gameplay set up in terms of it's game type. This is a Draw.

Sound

This is a one sided affair for sure as Halo runs away with this one in a way that makes Sonic look like a amateur game,the sound in Halo really capture the sounds that are happening while playing through the game. I shouldn't have to even begin to put up an arguement for Sonic because Halo blows it out of the water. Advantage Halo.

Value

Now in terms of value this was also a very tuff desicion because Sonic the Hedgehog for the SEGA Genesis is rated very high in terms of value due to the fact that so many people liked it and now that the systems dead it adds to the value more, however Halo is a game that swept the nation and created itself alot of value because of the fan based that it quickly gained and how many people bought the xbox just to play this game, and the value will only to continue to grow, also it's probably rated a higher value now than Sonic. Advantage Halo.

Storyline

This was also a vary one sided battle due to the fact that Halo has a compelling story that last over into 3 games while sonic may last in a couple more games but the story doesn't make you feel has if your in it and you can't get very compelled with it. Advantage Halo.

And there's match-up number 2 history with Halo winning in a romp 4-0-1 and moves itself to the second round, and has a very good chance at winning in this tournament. As for Sonic it's a same that such a revolutionary game goes down in glory, but that's the way that it has to be in The Greatest Game of All Time Tourney.
