It is entirely possible that the power supply is on the verge of failing. Is there another, recent model PC with a quality PSU, in the family or belonging to a close friend who will assist? If so, swap your PSU out and try the other one to see what happens. If it's the cause, do not buy an inexpensive replacement. Get one from a known brand name: Enermax, Fortron FSP, OCZ, PC Power & Cooliong, Seasonic, or Sparkle. Kiwi_1

Thanks for the help, I'll try and see if I can do that.

Most of the video card utility programs include that capability. ATI Tray Tool for Radeons, ATI Tool for Geforces, and Everest Home will keep a running log of CPU temps. Quite simple, and heat is one of the main causes for a huge assortment of graphical anomalies referred to as "Artifacts". Look it uo with Google or Yahoo. Kiwi_1

So I downloaded this "ATI Tool" (I have an nVida GeForce 7300 GT) and it didn't find any artifacts after searching for half an hour. The heat also didn't seem to change much, if you want I'll post a screen of it. But there's something weird now, the game still crashes, but it just makes that tiny beep error sound and takes me to the desktop without explaining anything (but the resolution and everything were still fine).

What are the temps for the CPU, GPU, etc while the system is under load ?

Kiwi_1

How am I a supposed to find this information out while I have the game running? (Sorry, I'm not so good at some tech issues).

And amcoops, that's not the problem, I made sure the boxes were not checked but the game itself runs on the same resolution as my screen (1280 X 960) so that's out of the question. And I've been able to run this game with the same PC setup for over a year, so I doubt that's a problem either.

I have a problem on my PC whenever I try to play Battlefield 1942 and it's mods. I used to be able to play this game fine for years, but now it will crash during the middle of my game. The screen will suddenly say "no signal" and turn off, then I have to press Alt + F4 until I get back to my desktop, and it gives me this message:

As you can see, the pixels ratio and colors become highly distorted.

I'm also having a similar problem with The Orange Box, but when it crashes I'm never able to get back to the desktop and I'm forced to manually shut down my PC, so I don't know if these two problems are related.

If you need to know the specs of my PC, I'll gladly post them. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

[QUOTE="Evilmaster101"]If you like Naruto, I suggest you stop watching the dubbed crap and start watching the amazing Japanese version. As for your question at hand, I have both Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and Naruto: Naruttimate Portable (whatever they call it here, I don't care) and would easily say you buy Monster Hunter 2. And if you still want to get the Naruto game, I suggest you import it from Japan (that's what I did, and you shouldn't worry, the PSP is region free).hunterchaw
haha yea dont worry about the crap dubbed version, im caught up into the series of shippuuden just waiting till thursday and alright, thanks man, ill get monster hunter and where can i import it and thanks for letting me know the psp is region free lol, iv pnly had it for a day

I usually try Games-Asia.com (they usually have the cheaper price, plus free shipping), but I've heard that Play-Asia is also good.

Why do people keep on mispelling the word "weird"? I mean, it's spelled like it sounds!

EDIT: As for your question at hand, do the red rings appear solid except for the 2nd player slot? Becaue that's the indication of a true red ring of death. If it just has 2 solid rings at the top, it means your system is overheating, and if all rings are solid, it means a cable is not plugged in well.

Does anyone know if you can transfer your acheivments and save files of games you played before making an online account and add them to your online account? Because I already have many acheivments and spent alot of times on games, but only recently made an online account, in which I have 0 gamerscore and 0 acheivments. Thanks for any help!

I've had my 30Gb iPod Video since last christmas, and since I share a computer with my family I accordingly removed all files I did not want on my iPod. Now, my younger sister has just got an iPod nano for christmas and is trying to set up her iPod with only the music she wants on her iPod. It seems she has now added her files to iTunes which have now been added to my iPod library automatically, and we now share the same library. I want to know what I can do to have separate libraries for each iPod and to have it so any files she adds to her library are not added to mine. Is it possible for me to have two different iTunes programs downloaded at once? Or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.TimmyNude

I doubt you can have two seperate iTunes on your computer, but what you can do is add all the music files on your comp. to your iTunes libary, but then only check/uncheck the files you want for your iPod.

I don't know the exact numbers, but I don't think Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is doing nearly as good as it should here in the states (it's the best-selling PSP game in Japan).
