I kept seeing gameplay video that was just full of people jumping around a lot when they were shooting each other. Like lots of other shooters but you jump 30 feet in the air. It also seemed like it took way to long to kill someone. Super advanced armor + super powerful plasma rifle = normal shot to damage ratio? And with no information on the story I've kinda lost interest. I'll play a demo if they have one. Who knows, I could surprise myself.
You are equating the Ethereals with the prohpets, which I think is way off. The Ethereals didn't start a crusade to wipe out humanity. They taught the Tau about the Greater Good while the Prophets used superior firepower and a story of the "Great Journey" to win the Elites over.
What I really wanted was all the Ninja Gaiden 2 weapons and a slick black costume. But, of course, no luck there. I honestly, don't expect this to be very common, especially since microsoft prefers to charge people for items rather than have them earn them. Yay marketing. But as long as I'm dreaming... Some crazy guns from Borderlands and a pet Fire Skag Baterangs from Batman: Arkham or the Jokers suit Ezio's Cowl and wrist blades from Assassins Creed 2 A spacesuit from Mass Effect 2 A chainsword and power hammer from the upcoming Space Marine game. And, what the hell, throw in a full suit of power armor and a mini Titan to boot! For starters.
Skies of Arcadia. Dead Space. Escape Velocity. "Resonance of Fate" is too corny. The Japanese title "End of Eternity" is much better. Star Craft. It sounds like you are actually making stars.
Honestly, all the stuff that has been pissing me off about Microsoft up till now has just built up and culminated in a further showing of their greed and corporatism. I just felt like ranting, is all.
Microsoft in it's infinite greed has done it again! If it wasn't bad enough that they charged money for freaking gamer pictures, you now can pay to give your horrible avatars a different look! The only good idea is getting stuff from achievements. But of course, all of the games I've been playing for the last 2 years give me nothing. Grr, argh, rarg *and other animalistic growls of discontent*. And of course, now there's even more Product Placement! It won't be long before all the crappy Ecko junk hits the marketplace. I'm not wasting one cent on any of this commercialized garbage.
"This request contains an illegal URL" A URL can't have /.../ in it anyway. What are you trying to pull? You know what, anybody reading this, just use Skippydisc (http://www.skippydisc.com). They've already repaired 2 of my games for about 6$ each. Better than any homemade method you might screw up.
Ryu Hayabusa. He's got abs of steel, and thighs of steel and... everything else of steel. And he warps it all in skin tight black leather with jaguar print! Rowr!
