Who says the next Xbox won't get superior multiplats? Microsoft has the advantage in this area, not Sony.

Some of those games weren't on the original Xbox, if they had been, you could simple play the original disc. You see, the games on the previous xbox are still playable on the 360, the HD collection isnt required to play these games. On the P$3, HD collections are the only way to play PS2 games because you cant just slap DMC 3 into your console now can you.

Not all games for the original Xbox can be played on 360. Second, you can buy a BC PS3 if you want. 3rd, if you're buying it to play games from the previous gen you're wasting time and money.

It's a nice perk but you're clearly "funnystyle" if it's a deal breaker.

Recall that it's only when consoles went disc that BC even became an idea anyway (there may have been for Atari but don't quote me on that). Nobody bitched and whined that you couldn't play NES games on SNES, or SNES on N64, then Gamecube. Same with the Sega brand.

Never been a major selling point nor deal breaker.

You MS blowers are reaching something serious.

for ME, I had the originally 60gb and never played PS2 games and I never had a PS2 prior to that either. I bought the console to play new games not old ones.

Never owned a ps2? Did you just start gaming in the last 7 years?

Patcher's prediciton is based on the next Xbox being subsidized.

cows cant even concept the idea, they are so pathetic. Maybe they are just stupid. I dont know, read the article 5 times, I got it the first time.

Most cows barely had the mental prowess to read the thread title let alone the actual article. Its realy not that difficult to comprehend cows. Will the public at large want to spend 500 at once for a PS3 or 100 for an xbox and a little over time? Sonys in deep feces.
