People have high standards for PS3 exclusives and many of them are noted for their omgwtfhax graphics. So if a dev says they maxed out the PS3, they just wanna get some attention and make people believe that their product will look as good as one of those high standard PS3 exclusives.
This was a smart move by Sony regardless of what you guys say. No pun intended Its like when 360 tried to be a PS2 and copied some stuff from the competition and minus some hardware errors it succeeded. Perhaps Move will too, who knows?

Resistence 3 will only be good if they don't try to be cool and edgy like everybody else again and stick to what they did with FoM which was fun and just improve on that
