For a while I've switched back and forth between consoles and PC, but I've recently decided to go more or less PC exclusive (given that console games have been lackluster for a while).
My television is roughly 20 feet away from my computer, and has USB, VGA, S-video, and obviously, HDMI ports. I'm using a GTX460 on my computer.
Would it simply be a matter of finding a long enough HDMI cable + the appropriate adapters, or is there a more minimal (or even wireless), way of doing it?
Cheaper would be better, obviously. :3

Win more than half of your games and have a winning streak when you're close to promotion or lose all your games and hope that you'll get demoted soon :P.

Hmm, OK. It actually put me into Diamond (rank 100 though), so I guess I'll just lose for a bit. I play random now, so that + taking a break = I now suck.
I just recently started playing again after about a 6 month hiatus. I was around 50 diamond when I quit. I lost and it placed me into Plat again... and now I just keep losing (with my score barely diminishing). How many more games will I have to be battered around before I get into a league that fits my level? :/
I'll look into them, but I'm leaning towards games with some sort of story, atm. Anyone try Gemini Rue?
Alright, so I've recently gotten into indie games, as I'm bored with mainstream games. Could you guys recommend me some good indie games for PC? I prefer RPG, Action, or Strategy, but I'm open to whatever.
I've already played Amnesia, Braid, Audiosurf, Trine, Machinarium, and Plants vs. Zombies. (Out of those, I would definitely recommend Amnesia and Braid if you haven't played them).
I kind of have to disagree with everyone saying it makes it clear what you have to do... For example *puzzle spoilers*...
In the first world, I didn't realize you could use the puzzle itself to interact with the world, and jump off it. No where in the mechanics, up to that point, was it explained or even hinted at that that was possible. I don't mind complicated and intriciate games (e.g., Eve, X3), but Braid isn't complicated... its different.
At any rate, I'm glad I'm not the only one who experienced this. I'll keep trying here and there, but if it keeps being this annoying, I'm just going to have to abandon it.
So, I picked up Braid for steam, and I can't say the game is bad -- it is an amazing game so far, except... its just too difficult. There have been a few parts where I've sat, wracking my brain for 30 minutes before getting frustrated and just looking at a guide. Even after I watch a guide, I never think "Why didn't I think of that?", but, "How the hell was I supposed to think of that".
Does anyone have some general tips to make the puzzle-solving easier? I would love to keep playing, but I'm not going to play a game that is frustrating, no matter how awesome it is in other respects.
