Hey, duders.

So I haven't really kept up with any of the new baseball games as of late, but I've been getting an itch to play one. I've read up on MLB 2K12 and it seems to be getting a pretty mixed reaction from people. So here is where you guys can help me out. If I haven't been playing the 2K baseball games will MLB 2K12 be a good place? Or is most of its negative reaction coming from its lack of change over the years, something that I won't really notice when playing. I know that MLB The Show is probably the best baseball series out there right now, but I don't own a PS3.

Anyway, Thanks.

Why not just play the game instead of posting the same topic on multiple sites semi trolling?

You posted the same question on Giant Bomb and then here, but took out most of the flame bait trying to prove a point. If you were really bothered by that other thread, then I recommend you stay away from the internet as you don't seem capable of coping with someone disagreeing with you.

Some of my favorite XBLA games are Castlevania, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Bomberman Live, and Contra. If your looking for a game with good co-op check out Smash TV, TMNT, and Contra

So lemme get this straight... X360 fans who've owned their system since 2005 have paid on average an extra $150 besides the price of their console unit? And PC and PS3 gamers have paid zero $$$ to the man for online play? Is that right? And the $50 fee continues every single year?

After five years some of you will have paid up to $650 for your XBox 360 and online play fees alone. $850 if it lasts as long as the PS2 will be around. :o

larshaun

Yeah but your not paying all of that money at once. $50 a year is not a lot of money at all for an online service that works smoothly, really people need to stop complaining over this.

[QUOTE="crunchUK"]

durr they already have it...it's calld "xbox live silver". :P

ok ok but that will never happen since 8 million (is it 8 million) seem to have no problems with subscribing

azad_champ

Lol! MS fails. PS3 which has about half the userbase has 10 million PSN users. MS has to make online free. Otherwise they'll fail miserably this gen.

Microsoft is not gonna fail this generation if they do not make Xbox Live free. Just because Sony offers their online service at no charge doesn't mean that it is the greatest thing ever. Sony online has quite a few flaws that need to be worked out before it could even compete with Microsoft on the level it needs to, to take over the online console market. Besides $50 a year is not a bad deal because for one the online works the way it should and Microsoft manages the service to keep it running smoothly

There won't be gaming world. Period.hiphops_savior

Yeah if Nintendo never existed then video games probably would have never gained the popularity that they did as a result of Nintendo.

Gears of War is not a good game to buy a 360 for alone, but by now there are so many great games out that you will definitly find something to like and there will be plenty of new games announced at E3 to get a 360 for later on this year

I'm really looking forward to see Fallout 3 and DC vs Mortal Kombat, but the games that always steal the show for me are the games that nobody has ever seen before.
