Giveing it away

It seems like gamspotand gameinformers might be the only ones keeping holding of there roots on the matter of rating games. since other seem to give score aways of major titles from major publishers and developers in witch the game is far below par being able to achieve above par score. seems to me that they give these scoresto please them both and to help boast sales. almost game rating systems has became the whore of the gaming industry and it has come to sad part in time for this. hopefully that CNET wont fold on this cause if cnet the free right to express opinion might be doom for ever and drowned out by major media publishing networks who are game companies practical B****. lets just hope things dont come to this.

ESPN enters agreement with MLG

Today is monumental day for gamers everywhere, well at least those with skill. ESPN has now taken MLG under there wing and has agreed to television some of there event on national television. Quoting an MLG admin "ESPN.com, the leading online sports destination, today announced it has entered a content agreement with Major League Gaming (MLG), the leading professional video game league." Also quoting the espn spokesman "ESPN will be on site at each of the 2008 MLG Pro Circuit Competitions, reporting news from its own coverage booth for various ESPN programs and platforms, including ESPN360.com, ESPN's signature broadband sports network."

On personal level this is just great, cause going into this ill know several of the teams that going to be featured in the xbox 360 section. So I know there going to be some great teams let alone great personalities and just total dominance over the playing field. There going to be some great games to be played here.

So personally I think people have been waiting for something like this way to long. This is something that ESPN or other media companies should have capalized on earlier. The gaming community has been screaming out for this demanding something be done. I think this is just beginning of things to come. I think media companies are going realize that there is money to be made and large amount of it.

Before I say to many good things about this, Im going to have to see it get off the ground to belive this really going to happen. Not just saying we are and then at last minute they break up and decide not to work together. So it safe to say not count the chickens before they hatch.

Rumor | Rockband: Fog & light show

Well if you thought that you and your friend weren't rocking hard enough. You might have been right and harmonix might back you up on that one. This still stated rumor and will be till either Gamestop or harmonix comes out of the closet about the truth. That you soon will be able to jam on your drums or guitar or sing your lungs out and have light turn off and room to glow with colors as fog puffs out between your legs. As harmonix is suppose to release there Rockband: Light & Fog stage effects, suppose to be released in late June. This is going to be either a great addition to an already great game or this just might be water over the damn for it. It mostly an personal opinion and choice on how you want to handle your rockband and to witch level you want to rock. To me there might be the problem of the necessary room for item like this in my gaming room (witch consist of my bedroom). For item like this. The daunting question if I want to shell out a hundred dollars for something like this.

Calm before the storm

We have survived through the holiday season of game release... tho some of us dint make it through with our wallets in hand. But there is a storm al brewing or the horizon. By the looks of things they're going to be a lot of us in line at Gamestop with games piled up to eyeballs and not have clue which ones you're going to walk out the door with or witch one to put in your disk tray for that matter. So I would save up now and start digging in those lucky couch cushions for the extra change cause the next 2-3 month is just going to be expensive as the 4Q last year for all us gamers and only the strongest are going to survive the coming storm.

Capcom has really dug the grave: Monster Hunter

Very Few Americans have any idea what i am talking about. on the other hand you ask any Japanese RPG player they know it as one of the greatest RPG's by capcom. the title is Monster Hunter.

i have become depressed over the decision to make Monster hunter a Wii exclusive. Capcom had only commented that "Due to high development cost of titles for PS3, we have decided to switch the platform to which we release our Monster Hunster 3 title,"-Capcom managing corporate officer Katsuhiko Ichii had to said about there decscion on making monster hunter 3 a wii exculsive. he also had this to say on the affect of the decision"the transfer of the platform is a positive surprise for Nintendo and negative news for Sony,"-Katsuhiko Ichii.

i think this horrible decision on part of capcom, i hear them saying they want to build the hardcore fan base on the Wii but that not where you want Monster hunter. there are many reason for that. for starters the wii remote is just not going to be able to handle the controls for this game. there going to be to many feature there going to have to take out due to the lack of buttons on the Wii remote the complexity far exceeds the Wii remote capability. it is going to have to cut the meat off the game rendering far below par. second would be graphically, capcom has been known to make rpg's and other games. that push the graphical capability of each system. plain and simple the Wii just wont be able to handle the par level of graphical detail that is need. the complexity of this game is far beyond the capability's of the wii. the lack of buttons, is going to cause them to cut down on variables you can control. ps3 dual thumb sticks is almost required for this type of game play. this game has to be the most detailed and complexed hunt and gather game. litary go and hunt mystical creatures to ground hogs to the raptors and flying beast name wyverns witch figuratively is in other word "big *** dragon".

the nex reason is plain and simple, muiltplayer. the wii code is going absolutely going to kill this MMO. i cant see MMO on wii. the whole Wii code problem is going to hold so much potential back this game will be caple. esstenialy your going to lose half the game if you lose the online muiltiplayer. this would be a huge blow to monster hunter and crippling it where it stands.

i have to say the original monster hunter defiantly was ahead 0f it time, i put over 400 hours of game play into this game i know this game inside and out. the online game-play witch created a whole another story line then the offline story carried along. they offered spacial missions or quest. the detail of the armors and weapons where absolutely breath taking. nothing on the ps2 offered this much interactive game play. this game was extremely time consuming. it took me over a year to reach the level 20 (monster hunter). witch was highest level you could achieve.

so all in all. this was poor investment on the behalf of capcom. i dont think this game will get anywhere on the wii due to the lack of hard core gamers and just what the system just doesn't have enough muscle to push this titlle through to stardom and fame it just not going to happen and this disappointing to many hardcore gamers and fans of jappanes rpger's.

Ubisoft working under the radar

Evidently ubisoft wants to come in hard and fast with there add on to the already blistering hot first person shooter Rainbow Six. it has been confirmed that Rainbow six: vegas 2 will be released March 11, 2008.Not even Gamespot has picked up on release date for this unbelievable shooter. tho i might add this is release date for the Xbox 360. PS3 release date is yet to be announced. tho taking in consideration of the ps3 release for there last one witch was continuously pushed back. Ubisoft knows how to make shooters, i mean not only first person but also third person. so by no means will it be surprising for this game to be a huge success on the market. i mean who buys the first one and not the second. it like eating only half the cookie. so i am eager for release of this game, due to 1) i loved series from the beginning 2) ubisoft and redstorm do fantastic job on there games and take huge pride in them als o this game will be by no means rushed.

tho i may add that there wasn't much know about this game until the recently.by the looks of it, it seems that ubisoft has been playing this one under the table quite a bit. since how far along they with the development. there even speculations that the beta testing has just concluded on this title and the buffering and packaging phase is now starting. this would absolutely catapult ubisoft to the front. knowing this game will grab the attention of all Call of Duty 4:modern warfare fans. so doing that mean that your grabing alot attention cause call duty got alot of Halo and COD4 players.... so a word of advice go pre-order it now.
