Both Witcher 2 and Diablo 3 have abysmal gameplay. Witcher 2 for being consolized garbage. Diablo 3 for offering retarded gaming. So then we take a peak at the graphics and story of both. Ok Witcher 2 wins. Both games belong in the gutter though. Sentinel112Did I just read that right? Witcher 2 for being consolised garbage? It was made exclusively for PC and then ported an entire year later to consoles due to its popularity and demand. It seems as if you just hate any popular game that is favoured by the masses after reading your other posts.
Over 3 days after launch and I still can't play during peak times because of full servers/error 37. It's kind of annoying how I've got to specifically log in in the mornings or late at night on Asian servers here in Australia, or have to spend 30 minutes spamming my password to finally log in. Apart from that though the game is fun, not innovating or amazing... but it's just plain fun which is all I care about.Faber_FighterI take back what I said, I can't play at all during the weekends from the looks of it. Being in a 1 hour queue just to play solo is frustrating to say the least.
I can't stand this downloader anymore, and I'd definitely recommend buying a hard copy of this game.
This being my first blizzard game in a long time, I thought that buying the digital copy would be as easy as buying a game from Steam or Origin. But boy was I wrong... these download speeds are horrendous due to the peer-peer system with it fluxating between 20-150kb/s, the client seems to be buggy and to top it all off you can't properly pause the download?! After googling that closing the client and re-opening it later was an effective way to pause it, I realised that I lost a few gb of my progress. (I'm assuming the file it was currently downloading wasn't finished and it just deleted it to start over next time.)
I guess I'm just annoyed that a company of this size couldn't have a proper server to host downloads. That and the fact that I have to wait a good 30-40 hours for my download to finish completely, when this would have been no higher than 3-4 hours with Steam or something similar. This dampened my mood to play D3 :(
DKC fans already got their fan service. No love for us DK64 fans :(EponiqueI wouldn't mind it if they re-made DK64 like they did with Super Mario 64 on the DS, by adding in extra characters/features/things to collect, just for the nostalgia. But regardless, I absolutely LOVED DKR. It was the perfect example of how bring back an old series, completely remake it and still have it feel/play the same.
It should be made mandatory to have a fov switch in games released for the pc, I honestly don't get why most don't. it wouldn't even be hard just a few lines of code. Fcking lazy devs or lazy publishers? either way it's laughable. Yeah many games these days are always missing a few 'mandatory' features which wouldn't take much effort to implement. FOV switches, toggles for ADS/crouching, console (at least for the single-player component), in-depth graphics options (not just 'low - medium - high - very high / resolution' options and that's it), and a few other things I can't quite think of now. Missing some or all of these things really makes or breaks a game for me, and I'd usually rather just get the console version or not get it at all.[QUOTE="Faber_Fighter"]Low FOV on consoles with a TV for some reason isn't nearly as noticeable as on PC games with a monitor. So I don't think it's really necessary, but I do wish more developers could made it easier to change the FOV on their PC games. Borderland's default FOV on PC made me sick because it was so narrow, and it certainly wasn't as simple as changing a value in the config file to change it.ReadingRainbow4
