Still don't get it how they're gonna integrate driving or even jumping, crouching, entering or existing a vehicle, taking cover, running.... doing it all on the spot seems awful. i feel this MotionPlus is for very specific games only; and $20 is a fair enough price.
Would be lovely to hear some update about Mass Effect 2, God of War 3, FFXIII, Assassin's Creed 2, what Sony has to offer for the PS3 and what Borderlands is really about. Also would like to know more about Alan Wake and the upcoming Interstellar Marines (if they ever release it). Hopefully we'll get lots of space-fiction, ground action, thrilling moments and blow-it-up scenarios.
Another thing I wanted to add.... those people who react violently to video games and want to imitate their favorites are just mentally ill, not because of the video games in question, but because of what seems like total absence from this world and the urge to keep the virtual world around, even if it means harm to others (shooting ur mum bcause she took Halo 3 could be translated to, for instance, shooting that darn Brute for taking away my Warthog....) it all adds to the fact that these people just want everyone to agree with them, as is the usual flow of video game scenes and stories, and if one thing gets in our way, we move to plan B. plan Brutality. This itch in the mind DID NOT start WITH video games. It is basically applicable in every domain..... take rugby or soccer or a desperate final lap in motoGP, for example. ;)
I've seen people break controllers, consoles, and even tvs because of a loss or kill, but to reach the point of shooting your own parents, thats total insanity now. I can believe most of this content but I still don't get it why they always compare video games with DRUGS! I mean, thats way off the point!!! u INHALE or DIGEST the drugs, thats why they act badly on our brains!!! ah, I'm gonna reduce my TES IV disc to dust and inhale it now with a tube, how about that!!! plus, u dont need all this science and research stuff as if it's some AIDS-wannabe. Excessive players just cannot control themselves because of, and I will say it out loud, THE SOCIAL BACKGROUND. trust me ppl, I myself spend little time hanging out like that, I looove video games and take the atmosphere seriously, and I don't feel anything of the sort like hating my own parents or playing for a 3-day stretch!!! when I'm tired, I pause and rest, and when someone needs me, I pause and leave (though I get the feeling of sudden atmosphere change) but nonono, I dont compromise my fidelity and love to others!! video games are just another world, they're ABSTRACT, not CONCRETE, like drugs.... basically, those "addicts" are just people who got little or no self-esteem at all, and are within a rather stagnant social life. get them a bunch of friends who could chin them up and make them self-confident again!!! what's with all that clinic stuff lol.....
Loooollll great Valentine match, Gamespot!!!! :P :P :P Thumbs WAY UP to you guys!!!!!!!!! well yeah there are still suggestions.... what about, er, Alone in the Dark? first i save that chick from the jammed elevator (i think) and then we're together forever for the rest of the game (tip: i never finished it :D) and so far there's nothing intimate between the two (though they saved each other's a** more than once...). And we have Resi 4. Sure as hell Leon ain't gonna have a crush on Ashley, but they've been through a lot together and normal ppl surely would have emos during times like this. Oh and there's Ada Wong, the woman in red.... i mean, she looks at him with such "ooooh leeoooonnn cooommeee hooneeeyyyy" stares and then just shrugs him off right away (tip: the best part of this was when they were on the boat heading to the fortress on the island). And hey guys, we have Killzone. Captain Jan Templar and Shadow Marshal Luger. Well yeah, he likes her, and she's like, "ppfffft stupid boy." Even though when the game ends, they never talk about it again. Seriously. (lol i liked the part where Jan falls on top of Luger when their boat went down!!!) :P :P and what else?? aaah.... Prince of Persia The Two Thrones!!!!! hell, will Prince ever get a chance to get "closer" to that chick with the bow???. Glad if i helped!! :D
I hear you, Hoski0999, programming comes first!!! if ppl would program the same thing on both consoles, that gives identical results!!!!! ONLY that programming on PS3 is harder coz the 360 is NEARLY ENTIRELY devoted to playing videogames, whereas the PS3 devotes ONLY 20-30% of its performance to playing videogames.... :PPPP
my third post lol..... well yea, some games may differ (such as DEAD SPACE, owned on 360) but if u're gonna try every game on both consoles to decide which console to buy, then u better search for an ant in a football field.... XDDDDD
I now own both PS3 and XBOX360, but frankly, DIFFERENCES ARE ANT-SIZED!!!! I mean, who would argue over such petite variations, that's if anyone spots them?!? u gotta pause the game every second, try every movement, visit every place, look everywhere and try every visual option ON BOTH CONSOLES!!!! would anyone do that.... c'mon, ppl!!!! XDDDD
I hear you, Strigidae. I think you're 100% right. Such minor graphical differences arent worth arguing over, but personally, most ppl (if not all) look first at the console's price. A guy who doesn't own either goes into a shop, sees both, both displayed on 720p widescreen.... and obviously he'll buy the cheaper one. I mean, I went into a TV shop once, saw 2 greaaaaat Sony Bravia, both 46", but the second one had more options and features and more ins and outs, but was $550 higher!!! I mean, who cares about extra stuff, it's quality that counts..... and right after quality comes price.....
