@steelmouth It all depends on the attachment rate of games. The Wii U was sold at a loss, and one game covered it. Sony should still lose the same percentage per PS4, since the lower price was the result of the camera being removed from the bundle. They face an uphill battle against the wind when it comes to getting consumers to buy the move peripheral, but getting more customers in the door by being $100 cheaper is a smart step in the right direction.
No one wants to think they wasted $400+ on a piece of crap or the "second best console", no matter who you are. This leads us to people that will defend every bad action a company makes, or go the liars route and just say that they own all systems and a PC and that it doesn't matter to them.
Watched to 3:34 because I can't just not finish a video.......
On chapter 13 right now, still having fun. Also have a a ton of hours into Fire Emblem, so I'm mostly speaking to fans of that series.
FIRE EMBLEM SUPER LITE. If you're going to compare the two, then this is pretty much what you get. I haven't had a real fear of "dying" since almost every battle gives you an item, and this isn't a FF game where you just keep the items and use spells instead. It's not very deep, but I've pretty much already got my $34.99 out of this game and it's not even over yet.
Side Note: There's a reason games like this don't arrive on our shores too often. Read the review, and give it a try. Some of us gamers in the U.S. would love to play more games like this without trying to find an accurate manual on Gamefaqs.
@arqe So the PS4 will have no free games available at launch? You're missing my point. The PS3 was also a BR player, just because it was there "free", it didn't detract from the fact that it helped raise the initial cost of the system (also not saying it wasn't a smart idea). In other words, no free game is going to change MY mind about buying a system when there's a $100 difference involved. It's going to be a great game, but my 360 catalog isn't filled with that many exclusives in the first place. The price is what made me want to try Sony first this time.
