Well, this is my first blog post... I guess I should probably say something about myself...

Here goes nothing...

My alias is Zom and I'm an aspiring game designer. Unfortunately, I have little experience in map-building and no experience in progamming. I can't really say I'm in a hurry, though. I'm fine just playing games right now. I'm starting up college in a couple of days, so I'll get some programming basics. No worries. I've been a long time console gamer, but now, due to the recent acquisition of a "decent" PC, I've started to delve into the wide world of PC gaming. I think the only problems with my PC so far are that it's currently on integrated graphics (a total crap-fest) and the simple fact that it's running Vista (also, more RAM couldn't hurt). The games I'm currently playing are Oblivion, F.E.A.R., S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and Half-Life (1,: A tad behind, I know). I have just finished Condemned and am amazed. Easily the scariest non-survival horror game I've ever played. Oh, by the way, I'm a gigantic fan of survival horror, RPGs, and First Person Shooters (if you couldn't tell by now...).

Well, that was a pretty boring, albeit informational, first post. Hopefully, I'll have something more interesting to say next time.
