I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what the problem with my computer is. Most of the time when i turn my PC on it works but the monitor stays on standby as it has not recieved a signal. I have also realised that at the same time my keyboard also does not power on. After i turn it on and off a few times it will eventually work and everything is fine. I have read that i should disconnect each piece of hardware until i find the one causing the problem. I have integrated graphics so i can't remove a video card which may be the problem. Every thing is connected properly and i am worried that there is a problem with my motherboard.
Can anyone recognise this problem or provide some solutions?
EDIT: Forgot to mention that sometimes when i turn it on i hear a continuous beep.
My computer is pretty slow and i thought it was becasuse i have only 256mb of RAM. But i read a thing about how having errors in your registry can slow down your computer (like incorrect file extensions and programs that start up without my knowledge). This is the page http://asknerd.net/computerslowingdown.html . I downloaded a program to scan for errors and found that my computer has hundreds, but the program only fixes like 20 unless i purchase it. I have tried other programs but none help unless i buy them. Could someone please help. I'd like to be able to get rid of registry errors without it costing me. Most of my errors are registry and ActiveXCOM errors. If anyone could guide me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm going to get a PSP soon and was going to get the white one as I think it looks better than black and is probably better for figerprints. But while i was looking at cases on play-asia.com I read a comment that the Logitech case makes the White PSP's buttons turn yellow. Is this true? Also will the buttons turn yellow just from playing it? Because if there is a chance that they might turn yellow i would rather get the black PSP.
Does anyone know about this? Thanks.
[QUOTE="FarinacM"]The ps3 controller is PERFECT. it's not as basic as the Xbox 360 controller but is more basic than the wii controller. The wii controller's concept seems good but i don't see how a game like MGS or FF would work with motion sensors and a lack of buttons. The ps3 controller has some motion sensor capabilities but it is not limited to it like wii, you can still play normally as you would on a ps2 or Xbox 360. That's why the ps3 controller is the most superior controller.takeo_miyazakiyou can stick in a gamecube controller dur! and not every game has to use motion sensing-i mean tell me how MGS or FF will use the gyroscopic controller apart from in ship flying mini game sections?! and the ps3 controller is the bastard child of the 360 and wii except they still havnt moved the left analogue stick :P
Sorry, i forgot about the gamecube controller but do people really want to play a next gen console with a previous gen controller. Not every game has to use motion sensors was the point i was trying to make. the wii controller would struggle with non motion sensor games due to its lack of buttons. My point was you can't use motion sensors for everything in games like MGS and FF so that's why you need plenty of buttons.
