1. Google issue

2. Find solution

3. Fix it

These 3 steps have always worked for me

Improving textures and lighting is generally the way that happens. You'll see downloads for hi-res/HD texture packs for many titles out there...and that makes the biggest difference. But lighting effects can also make a nice difference as well...some games that benefit from SSAO where it wasn't supported at launch, etc.

Textures don't make the biggest difference, it's the lighting and shading. Good examples are GTA 4 and Crysis, all you need is ENB for GTA and a good ToD/config mod for Crysis

Do you guys recommend playing through the game first without mods then playing with after? Also, what mods are the best (ones that make the game puuurty)

[QUOTE="DanielDust"]that's one of the best examples because it's a screenshot from the best config by far.DanielDust

lol, no it's not. You must have seen very few configs

You must not know about this config then, because it is the best and it's also irrelevant, I prefer the original GTA IV, flawed as it is, it's way above the ENB mod.

First of all the DoF looks awful, as do the colors, the light and shadows.

Random example of a better config:

No overdone DoF or light and it makes the game look much more natural and realistic

If you prefer vanilla that's fine, but most people would agree that ENB (with the correct config) makes GTA IV look much better.

^ You realize there's thousands of diffrent configurations, that screen you posted is just a bad example. If you think a floor being a bit shiny (which is supposed to be shiny and looks prettier) is such a problem then you can easily tweak it in enbseries.ini

Nothing ridiculous about not liking a complete change of how the atmosphere and overall art style was intended, especially when such a mod makes absolutely every surface shiny, it does more harm than good, but anyway I'm biased to this whole ENB series mods, imo they're terrible, they completely ruin games, yes I don't like even the GTA IV mod and its various alterations like ICEnhance, it's good to look at, but I always prefer the original look that has a perfect atmosphere for the game.

Except vanilla looks so brown and washed out there's not much atmosphere to speak of. This mod makes it look more like the CG trailers

You might ask me, "How do you know there is a God?" My answer is that I just take a look around myself. Objects can be broken down by what exactly they are made up, whether it be material, element, or even how many protons, electrons, and neutrons there are in it. You might now be asking "Well how does this prove in your belief of a God?" My answer for that is that we don't know how the elements were created, or how atoms came to be. In my own opionion, I would believe that a divine entity created everything in the universe, and that we are slowly understanding what anything is made of through scienceNiKva

So because we don't know how everything came to be, automatically = some supreme being made it.

It doesn't solve the question at all, it just raises another one, how did God get created?
