Ok so I'm up to the part where i have to kill the Gourmet. Yet i cannot kill him without receining a 1000 bounty for "The Reach". Iv'e tried everything!! It's really annoying, the only option i have is to turn into a werewolf. However i had the same problem with the bounty issue in the kill at Markarth with the chief Anton. And i used Werewolf there. But I'll rather not use Werewolf since I'll rather just be stealthy about it and not have people chase me around. The whole reason i like the Dark brotherhood is to try play out as an assassin, not just charge in kill and run.
Hmm, i read somewhere to follow the blood trail so i did, and it lead me to the house "Hjere" or what ever it's called. As soon as i broke the lock and entered, the quest started "Blood on Ice". So how much of the quest have i skipped by going into this house? There must be a glitch I've triggered somewhere, because i defiantly didn't ask the guy for permission to investigate the crime scene.
I know there has probably been tonnes of these posts on this quest but I've been looking on the internet for a solution for 2 days now and nothing is helpful. They say to go to another capital and back to Windhelm 4 times in order to trigger, but i've done that 10 times now and still it's the same result. I see 3 people standing around the stone, the body is off to the left of the stone on the floor, and there is no guard. When i watched the youtube video on the quest the guard talking to you rings a bell, as if i have spoken to the guard at some point before. However i don't have a quest activate for Blood On Ice, so i would assume i haven't spoken to the guard yet. How can i fix this because I'm about to the do the Dark Brotherhood quest with clashes with this one and i can't progress till i solve this "Blood On Ice" quest first.
So i have Dishonored on PS3, so far i like it, bit of fun. But it just got me really annoyed, so starters i play this game slow, like i try to take enemies out quietly and i try to find all loot etc. So basically i spend like 3hrs in a mission. Well i noticed i tried to save my game and there was a line through "save game". I thought maybe i just couldn't save at this time, anyway i played on, still the same thing, i also noticed that the game wasn't autosaving. I played for about 2hrs collecting nearly every loot in the mission, when it was time for the next mission, as soon as the mission started my screen was black, so i committed suicide (happened to land in some water). Once choosing to load from previous save file, it took me all the fkn way back to when i just came out of the Overseer's Officer! All that time wasted, bloody frustrating...anyone get anything like this?
I just killed the Taurus first attempt since that post. This time he didn't jump up on the wall, but i immediately ran off the wall to plunge him, also this time i ran to the very other end and waited for him to jump attack, which is his slowest move. I rolled under his legs then sprinted to the ladder, even then he got a hit on me on the ladder once, luckily i didn't fall off. I'm also a level 11 Thief, my level and class may have something to do with the difficulty. I was level 8 at the time of that post.
This game is annoying the hell out of me. I played Demon Souls and even though it also annoyed me at first (cause i wasn't use to that style) it eventually became enjoyable and easy to play. However Iv'e played Demon Souls so it's not like i'm not use to the style. This game is just more unfair. For example, the Taurus boss, Iv'e seen a video on how to beat him, but he just knocks me off the ladder and if i manage to get up on the roof a second time he just jumps up on top of me and 1 hits me. The other thing that's annoying apart from an unbalance of enemies is the games reaction time to my button pushing is so SLOW! I press O to roll, nothing happens, i press it again then i finally i roll but then i roll a seoncd time! This is very annoying when trying to dodge an attack from an enemy, the first roll doesn't work so then i get hit, then i roll twice and miss my chance to counter attack. Is anyone else getting this delay in game? Like when i swing a sword it also delays and sometimes it swings twice when Iv'e only pressed once. And don't say because I'm a noob, like i said before Iv'e played Demon Souls on 3 characters beating it on Hardmode, and i didn't find it as near frustrating as this.
